Girls' Primary Honey Is Gerald - G. PHI G. was created on July 13, 2000 by six women who met on the internet - the late Telisha Johnson of Birmingham, AL; Anne Carter of Alexandria, VA; Rosaland Chambers of Tuscaloosa, AL; Robin Jones of Washington, D.C.; Chriscynthia Lacey of Los Angeles, CA; and Stacie Maxwell of San Diego, CA.
Today, those six women have been joined by a plethora of LEVERT FANS and together they are forever linked due to their mutual love and admiration for the late Gerald Levert and their quest to keep his memory and music legacy alive.
Since inception the mission of GPHIG has been to promote the music and career of the original teddy bear GERALD LEVERT. Many people enjoyed Gerald's showstopping performances, passionate lyrics, and soulful music. Those who had the good fortunate to meet Gerald or call him friend won't easily forget his warm, caring and humorous personality. Nor will they forget his passion to love and be loved.
The founders and members of GPHIG wish to thank the entire Levert Family, Atlantic Records, Jamie Foster Brown, Lyah Beth LeFlore, Roger Gore and the G-Natural Family, Tom Joyner and the staff of the TJMS for their continued love and support of the sorority.
