.. Gerard is a dutch guitar player, born in Amsterdam, who likes to play acoustic, electric, jazz, rock, brazilian. Because he can't make a choice out of these different styles he switches his focus every now and then to keep things interesting. .. .. The music presented here is from a homestudio project Gerard Koot did in 1994. This project was done with a few guitars, a Tascam 246 cassette-multitrack and a Korg 01/W (using the build in sequencer). That was the last finished project with original compositions. Within a few months some acoustic brazilian songs wil be uploaded. So feel free to visit this profile again. .. .. Gerard played a few years with the jazz-fusion band Hot Gossip (see video's). Later the bands name changed to Bronzo's Earjob. .. He also contributed some guitar lines to the beautiful brazilian music project Saudades by Dick van Lokhorst (Dickinho, check out his profile and songs). .. .. Beside playing Gerard also builds his guitars. After finishing two classical models he's now working on a semi-acoustic 335-style guitar but with the size of a Les Paul.
