haha, ohh yeah, that's TOTALLY emo. I've tried getting into the indie/folk bands but it just really bores me. haha, I need dancable, upbeat stuff and the occasional ballad.
oh yeah, I watched the first season of Gossip Girl and after that they just started to piss me off. Too bitchy and too slutty, it's like, did you seriously just get dressed in the dark?! how can someone find those outfits cool?! Plus Blake Lively sounds like she's a chain smoker with that raspy voice, and her eyes look like she's sleep deprived or she's on crack or something.
And tchyeahh, Armed Forces are damn awesome, They're actually playing Reggies on September 8 for a FREE show. I'm excited and after I missed their Reggies show in July, i'm really hoping nothing goes wrong and I'll be at that show, MUST make it happen. I should finally have a car for that show so who knows.
but yeah, Definitely not squeezing a lemon. and Matt sings in Anarchy for Dummies. hard to pinpoint where at first cause him and Brandon Jazz(Lead singer of AF) strangly sound SO ALIKE(Armed forces were on fearless radio in July and Brandon sounded just like Matt, it was funny.)
you know? really, I don't know if there even was a Honda Civic this year...but i'm just speaking from last year's HCT and the year b/f that, the FOB one was good but coulda been better.

I saw that video that the Gossip Girl chick was in....not that impressed with that one...the song, itself is kinda amaturish, not like their older songs from the first and a little from the second album!
hahahahaha! that's great! Either the dude from white tie...is purposely avoiding the criticism about his band or he is just really clueless and thinks too much of himself, actually thinking his band really is as great as he claims to be. Honestly I'll admit their music is kinda catchy, I actually added them on myspace a while ago but stopped caring once i saw them posting bulletins about White Tie Affair being aired on Radio Disney...that kinda ruined it for me. Same with Metro Station, once they announced a tour with Miley Cyrus, and Trace started looking freaky in all those tattoos, they kinda lost their cool. I mean, I know Miley is Trace's kid sister but still....that's not quite a good match, tourwise. Not to mention, i'm sure half the Miley fans will be scared by Trace's tattoos. hahaha.
As for Warped, of course there are those concertgoers that like to brag about all the concerts they go to and brag about how they are friends with this band, or how they got to go backstage with that band. Not to mention, with bands like 30!h3 and Paramore and Katy Perry playing warped, there's bound to be a bunch of the preppy American Eagle/Hollister wearing wannabe groupie fans that perminatly added phrases like "LYKE" and "OMG" and "That's soooo cute" into their vocabulary.
Lets just hope that next year Warped won't go downhill TOO much, cause I really wanna have another Warped Tour expierence! Haven't had one since 07' which, ironically was the year when Warped started to go downhill, just a bit, but still a fun year.
You know what tour really sucks now? Honda Civic Tour! Went to the Panic at the disco one in 08? i think, before I heard their crappy second album. That was a wack lineup.

wow! What douches! yeah it's labels like that, that make me really frustrated with the way the music industry is heading. All they care about is the damn money and nothing else. probably the only bands right now that I really like that are on a label are Cute Is What We Aim For and Paramore, all the rest of the bands on a label are letting fame get to their heads and letting their label walk all over them and like one of my friends thought up. Half these bands that start putting out crap albums after their debut was such a hit are pretty much squeezing a lemon. The label is all, "Ohh we can squeeze more songs out of you, but like a lemon, there's only so many drops you can squeeze out, and the last few drops are the shitty drops that come with half the lemon skin cause it's so hard to squeeze at that point.
hahahaaha, I really like that analogy for bands these days. Did you hear the new Cobra Starship songs?! horribly boring! More then half the bands on Fueled By Ramen are going down the path of the squeezed lemon now.

About the Warped Tour tickets thing, I actually wanted to see the prices of the remaining warped tour shows this summer and you're right, I googled it and in California tickets are around 40 bucks, then i saw a message thread of people talking about a rumor that the denver show or something was supposed to be 50 bucks and they were talking about how it's true and shit.

Wow! i didnt think Warped got that expensive, when you last ordered tix you didn't by chance use a shipment option that cost extra? I find it hard to believe that it costs 50 bucks to go to Warped Tour now! that's really ridiculous! Yeah, Kevin pretty much DID sell out. Should have known when he let Paramore play the tour 3 consecutive years in a row and couldn't let The Pink Spiders or Aiden or whoever play 2 warped's in a row.
and when you say you "worked" for warner, do you mean they paid you or did they just get you free stuff for "working" for them? I think the best Street Teaming you can do is Street Team for bands YOU LIKE and just get in contact with the band and say you wanna street team for them or join their own street team. That's what I do with The Crash Moderns, and got in contact with The Takeover Uk about promoting them and their manager sent some promo stuff out, and i'm now Street Teaming for Dot Dot Dot, handing out flyers at their shows. And just recently started promoting The Armed Forces to friends and around myspace and facebook(just of my own accord). It's funner when it's for a band you actually like. or for a venue you like or something.
YES! Steven was there, he was also at Lolla but i'm not about to spend over 100 bucks for lolla tickets just to find Steven! I really wanna meet him! He's badass. What are you talking about Warped tix being 50 dollars?! Did warped prices really go up that much since 07'? Last I checked tix where $25....i'm confused now, lol. And that's fucking wack that Warner were dicks to you. I take it your refusing to street team for them now? at least, you probably should consider it. Warner is too huge, like Sony and Universal, all they care about is money money money and signing band after band that sounds almost exactly like All Time Low and The Maine(after a while it just starts to get annoying, too much duplicate bands coming out now). I wasn't too impressed with the lineup this year either but had i known Steven was gonna be there I would have found some bands on the bill to check out!
Someone should go kill the major labels that are corrupting the music with all the shitty pop punk bands getting signed and taking up space on Warped Tour and taking it all away from deserving bands that should be on the tour!

Ahh, that's awesome. Yeah lately the only shows i've been going to this summer are Dot Dot Dot shows(definitely recommend you check them out at least once, so much fun!) and The Insecurities and Seth Bradley...yet i feel like i'm missing out on too many shows. Lately i've been in love with The Armed Forces, you know, the band that are friends with The Pink Spiders! yeah they are amazing, you should look them up, their new song has Matt doing guest vocals, a total summer song, can't get enough of it!
So no warped tour this year? saw that you were trying to go last minute. I didnt go either, but now i'm thinking i probably should have, just for the hell of it...I found out last minute that Steven, the Fuse vj was there! Bummerrr! Even more of a bummer that I don't have Fuse anymore on my dish...hate that! haha. You hoping to plan to go to warped next year? i'm wanting to, dispite if the lineup is even lamer then this year or not, haha.
