Gerechtigkeits Liga

Bio:

Gerechtigkeits Liga was formed in Germany in 1981 to create an outlet for the neurotic obsessions of it's members. The group produced and released their first Tapes & Videos and the 12" Vinyl Maxie Single ‘'The games must go on'’, on their own record label by the name of Zyklus production. In 1986/87 they moved their centre of operation to London. G.L’s first album was released on Side Effects Records, which was then owned and operated by Graeme Revell of the Industrial group SPK. Throughout the 1980's the group was self sufficient in producing Music, Films and Videos. Multimedia performances took place all over Europe and North America. At the beginning of the 1990's G.L became partly inactive and didn’t release any new audio material, but towards the beginning of the Millenium, founder member Till Brüggemann felt the need to restart the project again. Since then, newly recorded tracks have been released on various European compilation projects. Please check the Gerechtigkeits Liga discogs link below for further details. In 2005 two of G.L.'s early Vinyl releases aswell as some previously unreleased Audio material, was made available again in form of a CD digipack. Further Audio, aswell as Video material has been released on 2 Vinyl albums, one 7" & on one DVD, all packaged in an army boot bag as a limited edition by the german label Vinyl-on-Demand in 2008. G.L., now based in London and Berlin, consists of Till Brüggemann and Ragnar, who work together with different collaborators who lend their support and skills to the various activities of the group. A 7" white Vinyl limited split edition with the german noise project Gehirn. Implosion was released in February 2010. This newly recorded G.L. track is being released as a forerunner for the upcoming G.L. album, which will be released as a 12" Vinyl towards the end of 2010.
