Gerina is a Latin-American beauty... no doubt. But beyond this, she is a mountain of talent as a musician that drives waves of emotion into her music, an accomplished songwriter that creates memorable lyrics with meaning, and an awesomely powerful vocalist with tons of attitude and passion that will knock you off your seat once you hear her perform live.
With her eye-catching looks and Latin-inspired dancing, Gerina has had a multitude of experience performing hundreds of shows, including over three years as the lead singer of the highlight band, Paragon, at the premier Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas. In addition, Gerina has been performing at various hot spots in Las Vegas (including repeat shows at the House of Blues), The Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, and touring colleges and festivals across the country, including NACA in Nashville, TN and The Big E in Springfield, MA.
Gerina is already an accomplished songwriter, having co-written “Closer To You” with Steve Morales in 2002, which went to 1 on the Latin Billboard Charts and earned her songwriting skills honors at the 2005 BMI Latin Awards. In addition to this, she has worked along side musical greats such as Jon Secada and Guy Roche.
In the past couple of years, Gerina has teamed up with producer Chris DeStefano, and with their joint forces, they have written and produced a catalog of over 50 incredible songs. With a very diverse background and being fluent in English, Italian, and Spanish, Gerina brings a special talent to the stage as well as to her songwriting. She has released a mix of songs in both English and in Spanish, and she has demonstrated abilities to cross over between both genres of music.
More recently, Gerina has focused on her dream of creating pop music with an edgy rock sound that pairs well with her powerful voice, while still integrating her personal style that reflects emotion, storytelling, and passion into her music. It is through this passion she touches her listeners with the meaningful messages and stories portrayed in a tapestry of sounds and lyrics that are sure to move you.
