Gerry Attrick and the Walkers is an Adult Alternative to 311 and Kanye West. We employ old-school techniques that can be traced to the earliest forms of musical expression to convey things like ideas, sounds and on rare occaisons - melody. Some of the musical implements include chords and words. There are times that the chords even move in a kind of progression.
"The Walkers" is a transient kind of band with members coming and going like dinner in a super-model. I can honestly say that all the members are professionals. They may not be professional musicians, but they are professionals - or at least play one in real life.
The band was formed in 2008 though conceived several years earlier in a back-seat, alcohol-fueled accident involving myself and 2 gymnasts. We are still not sure who the mother is.
Our shows are an experience best endured with a pitcher of something strong and a open path to the exit. The volume is loud when our wives allow it. Sometimes we even get winded from moving about on the stage
