GERRY JOE WEISE has toured Australia, Europe, USA, Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Polynesia, Azores Islands and Scandinavia. Throughout his many tours he has played with B.B.King, John Lee Hooker, Albert Collins, Noel Redding and Eric Clapton. He has released the albums : 1994 "Live In Paris", 1996 "A Letter To Jimi", 1999 "Bushman Boogie", 2005 "Sydney-Paris Blues", 2009 "Blues Down Under" (Alien Records). 2009 "Jaguar" compilation ("Long Train Blues" by Gerry Joe Weise) (Leaping Cat Records UK), 2009 "Native American Metal Uprising" compilation ("B Good 2 Me Jam" by Gerry Joe Weise) (Metal Doll Records Texas USA).
In 2000 he wrote two songs for Nabarlek (Indigenous Live Band Of The Year Award 2005), for their 2nd album "Bininj Manborlh". Gerry Joe Weise's "Long Train Blues" was "Song Of The Month" December 2007 at Songweavers NYC. In 2008 "Dreamtime Shuffle" climbed to number 8 on the Radio charts in New Zealand. In 2008 and 2009 Gerry Joe Weise became number 1 on the "Top Electric Blues" charts for 12 months and number 1 on the "Top 100 Artists Blues Rock" charts in Australia. He was featured "Artist Of The Month" April 2008 at Lizard Lounge Radio Australia. Also in 2008 he won the "Strat Master" title USA.
The documentary of EARTH SPIRIT - L'ESPRIT DE LA TERRE, an Art exhibition of 26 artworks by 12 Australian painters from the Northern Territory, which was held at the Laon Conservatoire of Music in France, early 2009 for 4 months. With paintings by England Banggala, Peter Nabarlambarl, Thompson Yulidjirri, Bob Namundja, Bill Namundja, Sonda Turner Nampijmpa, Mary Mullins Jujabilla, Celeste Robertson Nangala, Jocelyn Garrwurra, Maurice Fejo Minnadook, Eddie Ryan Bangadi, Gerry Joe Weise, and the clap sticks were from the rock group Nabarlek. At the show opening, there were performances by the Conservatoire teachers "Jazz-Aborigène", and their young students. Gerry Joe Weise was the curator for EARTH SPIRIT in conjunction with, and sponsored by the City of Laon in northern France.
