Born 1957, December 12 th. Had years of classical organtraining at a very young age. Started drumming at age 12. First band at age 17. Played keyboards and drums in many bands, mainly fusion and progrock/symfo. Composed Electronic Music as a soloproject from of age 21. Release of first album in 1995, with pop, funk, electronics. Got signed at a label for Electronic Music in 1999. Released two albums at that label. Moved to the largest label on Electronic Music in the world, Groove Unlimited in 2002. Released 8 albums at Groove so far. Besides his soloproject on Electronic Music, Gert has a project with Ruud Heij, in a similar style. They released 4 albums so far on their own label. Gert is also focusing on a progrock/symfo project and wants te release his first progrock album in 2009 or 2010. Besides his keyboardplaying and composing, Gert is drumming in a band playing hits.

Hey Gert, How are you? Took a while to get back to you - sorry. I've had some serious computer probs (the usual - trojans & had to rebuild) and I've been out of action on and off. I guess summer is kicking in where you are. Winter has hit us with a vengeance and we are all freezing our little butts off here in the 'other' hemisphere. We even had very early snow this year.
