i enjoy playing the drums which i'm slowly improving at but i'm still not very good, despite having been doing it for like 3 years now (i can finally do more than one fill, wahey!)...when not doing that i tend to reminisce about my childhood and do questionable quality doodles, which mainly include animals wearing clothes, smoking pipes and more often than not uttering the phrase "what the dickens?"...i'm a 'proud' member of the band currently #1 on the nme's cool list - the pornographic daguerreotypes, if you've not heard it yet you're missing out...also i enjoy the odd alcoholic beverage or two and spend a lot of my time hanging out with the old skool crew and other assorted characters, all of whom are certified legends/lunatics, coolness and insanity are both good in my books
Music
a fantastic array of music from a variety of styles, bands i'm particularly fond of include iggy pop/the stooges, roky erickson, alice cooper, the misfits, the ramones, the new york dolls, the hellacopters, mudhoney, black randy and the metrosquad, x ray spex, sly and the family stone, james brown/the jbs, dennis coffey, bob marley and the wailers, television, johnny thunders, dinosaur jr, destroy all monsters, dead kennedys, the germs, echo and the bunnymen, the fall, scout niblett, bad brains, misty in roots, the mc5, the clash, the cramps, the sonics, any of the bands on nuggets, the monks, the horrors, led zeppelin, early manic street preachers, 80s motorhead, the dead boys, the raveonettes, lee harvey oswald band, x, g love and special sauce, lou reed, kool and the gang, the white stripes, turbonegro, the only ones, love, john martyn, the jesus and mary chain, curtis mayfield, big black, the slits...there's a lot more but i don't want to go looking through my cd collection just to write this, which i imagine won't be read by anyone anyway
Movies
generally i'm told my taste in film is awful as for the most part it contains dodgy horror/sci fi movies...here are a few of the classics/not so classics i have precariously balanced on a shelf over my bed - the evil dead trilogy, street trash, toxic avenger, nightmare on elm street, zombie flesh eaters, the beyond (spiders eating a dude's face - what more could you ask for??), the from dusk til dawn trilogy, all the childs play movies, the films of frank henenlotter, repo man, shaft, beyond the valley of the dolls, pulp fiction (i enjoy any films involving samuel l jackson saying motherfucker), death race 2000, rock n roll high school, dr alien, masters of the universe, serial mom, return of the living dead, re-animator, freaked, bill and ted's excellent adventure, the list goes on for quite some time............ poor quality 80s action films are a must, so anything featuring arnold schwarzenegger is also usually in my top films list, as are 80s/90s family films and bad comedies like american pie and other penis joke based crap like that
Television
a wonderful invention...a real waste of my time but i still spend loads of it watching the crappy stuff that's always on...pretty much just watch comedy panel shows but i've recently been reminded of how good police camera action is though so that's now been added to my essential daily tv viewing alongside bargain hunt, neighbours, come dine with me and family guy...that's about it though apart from the occasional episode of ready steady cook, though i'm disappointed that ainsley harriott's stopped being quite as camp in his old age so it's not as good anymore
Books
i have some books about the ramones and american punk - please kill me and some other one which says the dead boys were crap in it so immediately isn't as good as please kill me, i read johnny rotten's autobiography a while ago, that was pretty good, and i bought some iggy pop biography ages ago but haven't read it yet, just looked at the pictures...my great dinosaur adventure is also good as it features me and my brother as main characters, that really freaked me out as a child before i realised that it was one of those books where whoever gives it to you gets the character names changed to your name...usually though i just read magazines or the labels on beer bottles cos of my incredibly short attention span
Heroes
the ultimate childhood hero superman of course (christopher reeves superman, not the dude from the 90s), and arnold schwarzenegger, he was always a legend though apparently is a nazi sympathiser...ainsley harriott for what i'm sure is an amazing talent for making pasta and sauce, and the guy from bargain hunt for being so ridiculously upper class i laugh every time i hear him speak...also as i'm supposed to be a drummer i'm gonna have to say jerry nolan as he's a hard hitting mofo and looked incredibly menacing in drag

About me: imagine a cross between the stereotypical nerd and the stereotypical stoner - thats me... but i don't like maths and i don't take drugs. i often walk places for no reason, buy things i don't need, and i enjoy wearing trilby hats in the privacy of my own home
Who I'd like to meet: lots of people but i'd probably not talk to them, just point and stare...iggy pop would be good to feel his leathery skin and i'd also like to meet an otter to see how slippery they are...and the guy from bargain hunt to ask him where he buys his clothes
You Are Smokin' Hot
You're a terrible flirt, a sharp dresser, and a party animal.
Of course, you're totally sizzling too. And for you, being hot just comes naturally.
i would like all of these at one point or another of my life, currently i'm sporting a quite pathetic version of the 'short boxed beard' but i aspire for the likes of the 'french fork' - you beauty!
Yo dude, I was talking to my auntie today, and she was saying that she found KG funny.
My thinking is that this is bad. If people find it funny, they won't take it seriously, and they won't soil themselves with fright.
We need to somehow bump up our integrity. So, if you can change your back story to that of Joe Strummer, I'll get us a record deal with some shitty indie label!
Good evening, it's been a long time coming but our 'hugely anticipated' new song is now up on our page. It's called Mark E Moon and is yet another tale about the state of modern society, though this time not quite as aggressive as our previous efforts. Let us know what you think, if anything... Stiv
You fucking bastard twat. If you don't put top megan in your cold friends, I swear I'm going to lose my fucking temper.
Just worked out a keyboard part for Eleanor Rigby. It's going to sound like a Psychedelic Clown committing Sepuku atop Mount Fuji, whatever fuck that means.
Alright man, have been playing back the recordings, and I'd like to apologise for some of the stuff I said (eg replacing '1,2,3,4' with 'Stiv.Is.A.Cunt.') because that really was below the belt.
Although you did get me back in "Now I wanna sniff some glue".
Oh yeah, I got a few comments about the rough tracks, apparently you're a way better drummer than alan fister.
