Get Down! formed in the city of Omaha, NE in the late winter/early spring of 2008. We self-released our first EP, This One's For You on July 13th, 2008. After two short tours of the upper midwest, we headed back to Omaha for the winter. Along with playing opening slots for Armor For Sleep, Hawthorne Heights, Every Avenue, Sing It Loud, You Me And Everyone We Know, A Day To Remember & more, we spent the next year writing and recording our new EP. After taking a break for the summer to do some more touring in the midwest, we have finally finished our new EP. It is called Say Hello To Missing Home and will be available to the world on January 20th, 2009. If you've followed us for the past year, you know that means we'll be lucky if it's here by June. But we really think we've got it this time. The release of the EP will be celebrated with a series of weekend tours in January and February. In March, we will (hopefully) begin touring full-time and visiting some places we have never seen before. So come see us, check out our EP when it is available, and join us on our journey. We're just five dudes who like playing music that we love. We hope you enjoy it, too.
