Shannon Martin, a.k.a “Mr. D. The Dynisty was born in Oakland, CA on October 15. He is the youngest of three children. Mr. Dynisty was raised in the East Side of Oakland and like many of the underprivileged kids in the inner city; he always had dreams of being rich and famous. He began rapping at the young age of 8. His dreams would not come without challenge. He had to endure some hardships and disappointments including being a single parent and carrying the emotional baggage of having trials with the drug scene and the law. He never gave up on his dreams. His ambition and determination carried him through to his abult life where he has accomplished many of his goals.
Since hitting the music scene. Once again in 2005, Mr. Dynisty has been steady on the grind…building a buzz, networking and making major moves. This male prodigy is all business, raw talent and destined to succeed. Coined by his peers as “Having the Unique voice of Attention”, he quickly gained respect and recognition in the streets of the Bay Area and other regions. Mr. Dynisty released his first EP in 2006 featuring Lil SS (his son) and Malia” entitled Mind Creep. Also in 2006 he released a hit single entitled “Ma Carr”. Since then, he has performed live at virtually every venue in the Bay and is now gearing up to take his career to the masses. His EP was followed up with the highly anticipated compilation titled “Music Hustle: 1st Edition” featuring: Ying Yang Twins, T-Loc The Boss, Romeo and others.
In 2005, Mr. Dynisty used his business savvy and passion for music to launch an independent label, Get It Real Big Entertainment, with business partner and manager Connie P. and they area determined to make their brand/label and artists household names. The label’s first release, “Puttin Paint Where It Aint”, is currently blazing the streets, local radio stations in the Bay and Southern Cali, XM Radio, nightclubs, and internet sites. This record is tribute to all the REAL independent artists in the world that are making their own money, taking care of home and business & living life to the fullest. “He is Jazzy, book and street smart! All the females wanna meet and all the hatta’s wanna be!” Well all the hattas keep him strong!!
His raw lyrics and game tight persona is sure to get him noticed and respected as an artist in the business. Mr Dynisty’s ambitious business savvy personality has helped him make major moves in a short time and his determination to succeed has already been established in the West Coast. His future goal includes building a career in the music industry and starting businesses that will help communities all over.
