Get the Facts NY supports the passage of the Healthy Teens Act, which would set up a process for schools and programs to apply for grants to teach age appropriate, medically accurate sex education (click to learn more!)
This is so important because right now New York State is getting the largest amount of money for abstinence only education, only after Texas and Florida. In these programs teachers are only allowed to teach about abstinence until marriage and cannot even answer questions about contraception. This is why www.getthefactsny.org
