Chia Schonberg is a driven young woman with a natural talent for media. Since the age of seven, Chia has known that she wanted to be a media professional. She has dedicated her college education to expanding her experience with classes and internships ranging from Access Television Production to Radio Production and writing.
Her latest project is the educational sex and relationship talk show created at Lehman College Radio in 2005. The show has since received an international audience and local media attention. Gradually it has outgrown its home. Gettin' Kinky w/ Chia is not only a talk show, it's a movement! As educated adults, not only does the show express the right of the listener to talk about sexuality, but also to explore it in a pressure free environment, with the mantra "Being abstinent shouldn't make you ignorant and being active should not have to put you at risk." The listener can ask questions, get advice and also give feedback on the show topics. She views the program as an opportunity not only to confront timely issues but also to create a business sufficient in and of itself with opportunity for growth.
