Spawned from an underground comic book in 1987, Trap Door has been dedicated to the dissemination of suppressed or lost information, fighting the forces of obfuscation, the eradication of prejudice and spreading the luv.
With infectious dance grooves and intelligent lyrics, Trap Door has attracted international attention and has been featured in a RAI news special about the future. Trap Door has also graced the pages of international magazines such as Unicus, UFO Universe and many popular comic books such as Hawk Man and Spider-Man. Trap Door was also voted most original band in the Lehigh Valley and has won numerous awards for their compositions and performances.
Musician and former King Crimsons Warr guitar player Trey Gunn, folk-jazz-pop siren Rachel Sage, renowned scholar and author Zecharia Sitchin and pure-castile soap maker Ralph Bronner (of Dr. Bronners Magic Soaps) have all added their names to the growing list of Trap Door allies and have helped perpetuate the Trap Door vision. Trap Door encourages their audience to challenge the norm and question arguments from authority. Gunn is a guest Chapman Stick player on Trap Door songs Song of Luv, Trammel 79 and Le Bang Bang.
Sometimes comprised of as many as twelve members, Trap Doors Intergalactic Bump music offers sounds - which until recently - could only be heard through certain obscure Montauk radio sondes. On top of dedicated dance rhythms the lyrics inform, educate, and expose the listener to such phenomena as the Philadelphia Experiment, S-4, Exercise Tiger, the ENUMA ELISH and the Epic of Gilgamesh. The bizarre spontaneous antics and choreographed artistry of Trap Doors performances provide an uncommon and fun experience.

...I actually couldn't handle Saturday night's performance. My brain almost physically exploded from the amount of awesome. For serious, guys, I'm not even kidding. That, and I went home aching from dancing so hard. Here's to a night of blissful exhaustion!
Love,
Hayley "Juanita" Jane
P.S. Juanita is actually correct. There is no Spanish form of Jane, only feminine forms of Juan(John). The only other thing you could use is Juana, but that sounds kind of like a fake name to me.
