| Genel | DJing, promoting, working, I go out a lot but mostly I'm either DJing at the venue I go out to or I'm there handing out flyers so if you see me in public and I hand you a flyer and don't really get a chance to talk don't take it personally. I would like to get to know you but I've got to handle business first. I work way too much to actually have much time for anything else, but if I did have the time i'd like to start designing clothes again, work on my screenplay, produce some music, spend some more time in the tattoo chair or concentrate on my artwork. | | Müzik | Now I've been a Drum n Bass DJ for about 8 years so that is of course going to come first but lately when I play out live I usually end up playing a blend of top40 hip hop, reggae, reggaeton, older freestyle, miami bass and recognizable dance music. as far as listening goes this is not the same music that you would find me listening to but if I were to play what I enjoy I think I might lose some of the crowd cause keep in mind it's not like I'm playing in a big city I'm playing in Syracuse. Musically the people here are fairly sheltered, I can't really fault them for that they've just been spoonfed whatever crap comes there way via the radio. Lately I've been listening to stuff like M.I.A., Spankrock, Bangers and Cash, Diplo the Cool Kids, Hot Chip, Girl Talk, Benny Benassi, the Streets and whatever good DJ mixes I can find. If I'm going to buy a CD I would rather buy a DJ's mix CD than a standard album. But not Mixtapes. most hip hop DJ mixtapes are rubbish, just a bunch of exclusive tracks that aren't even mixed. If some DJ sells you a mix CD and it's not even well mixed I strongly encourage you to find him and tell him that his CD is crap and that he'/she is not a real DJ if their shit is not even mixed and that you want your money back as well as a formal apology to real DJs that mix for being a biter by claiming to be a DJ. I didn't go to medical school so you don't hear me calling myself DR. Silas.
