About Getty Boy

For all those anticipating the second coming of the South, the street prophecy has now been fulfilled. Tucked away in the heart of the Carolinas lies the new voice of the corners, the back blocks and the alleys. Armed with more than just empty dope boy rhetoric and embodying the very essence of the streets themselves. Charlotte native Getty Boy is staking his claim as the newest and freshest addition to the Southern hip hop movement.
The first taste of his street sermons can be sampled on the DJ Whoo Kid and Incognito collabo Fresh Out The Pot Mixtape, Vol 1. Filled top to bottom with certified bangers and rattling trunks from Carolina to California, the mixtape serves as an appetizer for the streets until his forthcoming debut set on Hustle/Asylum Records is commercially released. Exhibiting a versatility that allows Getty to take listeners from the hood to the clubs and back, his name is quickly spreading throughout the streets as the next big thing to come up out of the bottom states, only further building up anticipation towards his release date.
