***BRITENYS PARENTS WILL BE IN COURT TOMORROW**
Britney Spears is a free woman and her parents are clearly frustrated, especially after today's circus in the streets of Bev Hills.
Based on what we know, it's a good bet Jamie Spears will be back in court -- we're guessin' tomorrow -- asking the Commish to put some teeth in the conservatorship order. That order gives the conservator power to restrict the visitors Brit receives. No doubt Ma and Pa were frustrated that Brit let a paparazzo ride with her in her car today. And we're hearing they were none too happy about the people she saw at the Bev Hills Hotel.
It wouldn't be at all unusual for the conservator to ask for an order requiring the cops to enforce the instructions Jamie lays down. In other words, he could call the Bev Hills Police and ask them to remove the pap from the car.
Likewise, the conservatorship gives Jamie the right to approve contracts. It's a good bet he would not have approved Britney buying stuff or getting a room at the hotel. Think about the cops going to the hotel and telling the manager they can't let Brit buy stuff or get rooms without Jamie's consent and if they defied Jamie they could be held in contempt.
***BRITNEY FREE**
Britney Spears has been released from the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center, the L.A. Times is reporting.
According to the paper, Spears slipped quietly out -- compared to the massive fanfare that went on the night she went in.
A law enforcement source tells TMZ the hospital let her go "because she was no longer required to stay there after 11:30 AM." We have not confirmed this independently, however, if the hospital decides Britney is no longer a danger to herself or others, the hospital loses its basis to hold her against her will

***UPDATE**-Sam Lutfi Legal History - Sells Britney Story
Sam Lutfi has begun to sell his story about Britney Spears to the tabloids. He even told them his story would "make a great book." Sam spoke to Us magazine and here’s what he said:
"In the depressive episodes, it’s all crying," Lutfi tells Us. "But in the manic episode, there’s very little crying or sympathy or compassion. She becomes another person. She becomes somebody that just doesn’t care about anybody or anything."
"The British accent is part of the mania," he adds. "She’ll stick to the British accent because she becomes comfortable with it… But you know, when the pink wig comes on, it’s getting bad."
Lutfi says that when Spears was involuntarily committed to treatment at UCLA Medical Center on January 31, her mom, Lynne Spears, arrived and tried to remove her daughter from his guidance. "Well, he is better family than you guys will ever be," Spears responded, according to Lutfi.
Lutfi tells Us that he gave Britney "a handful of pills" before her parents arrived. "I said these pills are working wonders, they are miracle pills," he recalls. Spears, Lutfi says, agreed that the meds were helping her sleep.
&In their restraining order against Lutfi, Spears’ parents accuse Lutfi of drugging their daughter and being verbally abusive. Jamie, who has been named as his daughter’s conservator, "is doing what he has to do to save Britney," a source tells Us.
Spears is one of nearly six million American adults suffering from bipolar disorder, a mental illness consisting of extreme shifts in mood, thought, energy, and behavior patterns.
Lutfi, 33, tells Us only he, Spears, and her psychiatrist know what brought on her bipolar disorder "roughly five years ago."
When the ambulance arrived to take Spears, "she was very quiet," Lutfi tells Us.
"When I told her, she wrote me a note and put a big heart on it and it said, ’I love you, Sam. Are there people coming? Circle yes or no,’" Lutfi recalls. "Oh, my God, it was funny, just the cutest little thing. I circled yes and I gave it back to her, and she looked at me and she’s like, ’Oh, lord, here we go again.’"
Notice how Sam Lutfi say only HE and a a psychiatrist know what brought on Britney’s bipolar disorder? Sam likes to stay in a postion of power and control, which is typical behavior of someone who is abusive. Sam won’t even share important information that could help Britney with her parents, or Kevin Federline, because Sam wants to stay in control.
Brandy Navarre, co-owner of celebrity photo agency X17, said about Lutfi who they are in constant contact with, "He seems to have Britney’s best interest in mind." That statement alone, in my opinion, proves X17 supports anyone who can help them exploit Britney, even if they know that person will harm Britney.
A man named Danny Haines claims when he stopped communicating with Lutfi, Lutfi retaliated by e-mailing photographs of Haines without clothes on to his family, friends, colleagues and employer, and text messaged, and called repeatedly.
That’s right, pictures of Haines without clothes on. How would Sam have pictures of Danny without clothes on unless the two were lovers? Danny was one of many who had to get a restraining order against Sam.
He’s been seen around a dazed looking Britney Spears, at times acting as her spokesman, referring to himself as her manager and friend, and insisting all the while that her best interest is his only concern.
All the same, Sam Lutfi, the 33-year-old man in the baseball cap who’s been behind the scenes throughout Britney’s public downfall, has not been easy to define.
Then on Tuesday, accusations in a restraining order cutting him off from the troubled pop star would seem to support at least one theory: that he was a Svengali figure in her life, a shady hanger-on who controlled everything - from doling out her pills to holding the paparazzi’s leash.
The day before the court documents were released, Lutfi told The Associated Press in a text message: "I have no problems with anyone writing anything negative against me. My image is not of concern, hers is." Lutfi did not immediately respond to further inquiry.
The restraining order, based on a statement from Spears’ mother Lynne, was not the first against Lutfi, who is listed in legal documents as Osama Lutfi. Accusations in at least three prior orders range from obscene messages following a business deal to a neighbor who said he was hounded incessantly and threatened with bodily harm.
Spears remained hospitalized Monday for psychiatric evaluation after being committed last week. The order, which bars Lutfi from contacting her in any way, was granted the same day a court turned control of her affairs over to her father and a lawyer.
Though Lutfi had recently reached out to various magazines and media personalities with information on Spears’ condition and state of mind, details on him have proved elusive.
Public records show he was born August 16, 1974 in Los Angeles. Music magazine Blender, in a March cover story on Spears, states that Lutfi grew up in Woodland Hills, where his mother reportedly owns several gas stations.
According to the movie database IMDb.com, Lutfi served as associate producer of 1998 film "Circles" (also known as "Crossing Paths") and 2001’s "Crossing Cords." And a profile titled "Sam Lutfi" on the networking Web site LinkedIn lists him as an "Independent Media Production Professional" with education from the University of Southern California. The school’s alumni Web site does not list Lutfi as a past student.
How Lutfi connected with Spears in the first place isn’t clear.
Brandy Navarre, co-owner of celebrity photo agency and Web site X17, told the AP that Lutfi contacted the agency about nine or 10 months ago - after her head-shaving incident and others - about telling Spears’ side of the story.
Since then, X17 photographers have cultivated a close relationship with both Spears and Lutfi, whom they have photographed together numerous times. Lutfi communicates with X17 by text messages, instant messages and e-mail regularly, and has had long conversations with Navarre, she said.
&Navarre said she never asked him how he and Spears met. Still, "I think I’ve always had a positive feeling of him," Navarre said. "He seems to have Britney’s best interest in mind."
In the order against Lutfi, Lynne Spears says her daughter met him in October 2007, and that he "essentially moved into Britney’s home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances." She describes witnessing a situation of tight control and manipulation, with Lutfi calling the shots on her medications, cutting her phone lines, and deciding who’s let in to see the pop star.
A court commissioner on Monday extended temporary conservatorship of Spears to her father, from whom she’s been estranged, through Feb 14. Adam Streisand, an attorney who said he believed he had been authorized to represent Spears, argued Monday that James Spears should be removed because his role "is causing her more agitation and more distress."
"Her family hasn’t been around," Navarre said. "(Lutfi) has kind of been filling that void. … He’s done everything from being a default manager and publicist to being a brother, a dad."
Navarre denied rumors that the agency was paying Lutfi for access.
"We have paid people for information, for pictures, but we’ve never paid Sam Lutfi and have never paid Britney Spears," Navarre said. "And he’s never asked us for any money."
Last month, Barbara Walters said on ABC’s "The View" that Lutfi had contacted her, telling her Spears "is suffering from what he describes as mental issues which are treatable." She also said Lutfi "seems to be enormously supportive" of Spears.
Court documents from previous cohorts of Lutfi present a darker picture.
In October 2005, businesswoman Jumana Issa filed a complaint in Los Angeles against Lutfi; it was dismissed in March 2006 because she failed to appear for a preliminary hearing. When contacted by phone, Issa refused to comment.
In court papers, the Westside Escrow Corporation owner claimed Lutfi started harassing her from the day of closing an escrow account for him after he demanded canceling an escrow check which she said she was unable to stop payment on.
Issa said Lutfi antagonized her repeatedly with obscene e-mails, offensive faxes and late-night voice mails, hanging up on her around 15-20 times a day, according to court documents. Issa described the ordeal as "an overwhelming nightmare."
Lutfi allegedly wrote in one fax provided by Issa, "Come on big lady, I know you are capable of responding. Put down the donuts and call me."
In October 2004, a restraining order was issued demanding Lutfi stay at least 100 yards away from Mark Douglas Snoland, a neighbor in Lutfi’s condominium building, for three years. Snoland’s attorney Ronald Ziff referred questions to Snoland, who did not immediately return calls seeking comment.
According to Snoland’s petition for a restraining order, Lutfi began "pounding" on Snoland’s front door on the night of Sept. 6, 2004 and tried to kick the door in while also pounding on a kitchen window and "yelling verbal threats of bodily harm" against Snoland and his mother, who lived in the unit.
Snoland claimed Lutfi returned 15 minutes later to continue to kick the door and yell threats. Snoland also alleged Lutfi buzzed him on an intercom "non stop" and, hours later, called his home phone number and hung up every few minutes.
Lutfi claimed in a response to the petition that Snoland only "knocked" on the door, and that Snoland "was never threatened," but actually "angry he was removed from the board of the condo complex."
In April 2007, an Orange County Superior Court granted a restraining order against Lutfi for 29-year-old Danny Haines, who told Blender he had been a close friend of Lutfi for two years and that Lutfi once told him he should kill himself. Attempts by the AP to reach Haines for comment were unsuccessful.
According to Blender, Haines said he and Lutfi met on Myspace.com in 2005 when Haines was struggling with relationships with his relatives and friends. The two became tight pals, Haines told the magazine, and Lutfi emphasized that he could be a mediator between Haines and his family.
Haines claims Lutfi showed a jealous side, leaving voicemails calling Haines "worthless," and then divulging, "I love you, man. I love you to death." Haines alleges Lutfi later suggested Haines take sleeping pills, "lots of them," following a dispute over money Lutfi allegedly borrowed from Haines, according to the magazine.
Haines claims when he stopped communicating with Lutfi, Lutfi retaliated by e-mailing naked photographs of Haines to his family, friends, colleagues and employer, and text messaged and called repeatedly....
***KEVIN FEDERLINE helping BRITNEY SPEARS**
Britney Spears may be the one undergoing inpatient care at a psychiatric facility, but her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, is the parent who is struggling these days. His contact with the troubled star has been sporadic and painful, but Kevin is trying to help Britney get better.
"Kevin has had contact with Britney twice," revealed a Federline family insider, who added that the singer used her now-infamous faux British accent during one of the calls. While Kevin waits for further guidance from a psychiatrist on how to speak to his ex-wife, he tries not to let their conversations upset him. "Kevin keeps it very clinical as he does not want to create any extra emotions for Britney right now," said the insider. "The few times they chatted, Kevin had to cut it short because Britney went off on a tangent about Kevin kidnapping the boys from her. Kevin loves her — and wants her to get better for the boys — so he’s trying not to let her get to him."
Kevin remains heartbroken that he has to keep their two young sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, away from Britney, 26, particularly now that her stay at the Stewart & Lynda Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital at the UCLA Medical Center has been extended until February 19. Despite the difficulty of keeping the boys away from their mom, "he feels like it will all be worth it in the end," added the insider.
At least Kevin, 29, can take comfort in knowing that his burden is now being shared by Britney’s parents, Jamie and Lynne. "Kevin is relieved that Britney’s parents have finally been able to step in and force her to get help." Only time will tell if this stay in the hospital will finally work.
"Kevin is worried about Britney because he knows she must be going through hell right now, but his main concern is that she will not be in treatment long enough to turn things around." He is concerned that she will not get past the anger that she feels so intensely and start seeing the opportunity for healing and change she has in front of her, according to the insider.
***Sam Tried to drug Britney**
Lynne Spears claims in her court declaration that Sam Lutfi drugged Britney Spears on order to maintain control over her. After reviewing the information presented to the court, a restraining order was issued saying that Sam is to have no contact (directly or indirectly) with Britney, is not allowed within 250 yards of Britney, her house, the houses of her family, her children, or the UCLA Medical Center, and claims that Sam:
"Drugged Britney… grinds up Britney’s pills… puts them in her food… and claims that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain."
"Cut Britney’s home phone line and removed her cell phone chargers… yells at her… claims to control everything — Britney’s business manager, her attorneys, and the security guards at the gate."
Told Britney, "that she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about Adnan [Ghalib], her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids, and that she does not deserve the kids."
Told her Adnan was gay.
"Hides her dog, London. She looks for him all over the house crying and then [he] brings out the dog from the hiding place and acts like her savior."
Told Britney’s mother, Lynne, that if he were not in the house to give Britney her medicine, she would kill herself.
"Has essentially moved into Britney’s home and has purported to take control of her life, home, and finances," as well as bragging that he "receives Britney’s checks" and that "they are in his car."
Told Lynne that Britney’s business manager, Howard Grossman, was an old friend of his and that, "You’d better learn that I control everything. I control Howard Grossman, Britney’s business manager."
Over the weekend Sam avoided being legally served the restraining order, and talked to Britney on the phone in violation of the order. When Sam refuses to obey a court order, it proves he’s worried that losing his control over Britney could mean he would have to answer for everything he’s been doing to her. Sam tries to maintain power and control over Britney, and anyone else in her life, which is the behavior of an abusive personality.
Sam said the restraining order, "won’t last."
***ADNAN Gets denied to see Britney**
Jamie Spears is still the co-conservator of the Britney Spears estate, as is Andrew Wallet. Jamie was unsuccessful so far in firing Britney’s attorneys from Trope, who had asked to withdraw at one time, but now are suddenly fighting to stay on the case. The Commissioner did not give the conservators the power to fire Trope and Trope, Britney’s divorce lawyers.
The Commissioner said, based on the restraining order, Sam Lutfi can have no contact whatsoever with Britney, including e-mails, phone contact, etc. The commissioner learned on Monday that Lutfi had talked to Britney over the phone despite a restraining order that is on file, but so far Lutfi has avoided being legally served, which is why he doesn’t have a warrant for his arrest for the phone call.
The Commissioner extended the conservatorship to Valentine’s Day.
The Commissioner said Adam Streisand had no legal basis for claiming he’s Britney’s new lawyer. There will be a hearing at some point to determine just how mentally competent Britney is.
Adnan Ghalib brought his own cameraman, and pink roses
when he tried to pay a visit to Britney at UCLA Medical Center. Adnan was not allowed to see Britney. He’s such an opportunist.
Michael Sands, who is the man hired by Mark Vincent Kaplan, Kevin Federline’s attorney, to field media calls has been subpoenaed in the Britney Spears case.
Britney’s lawyers, Trope and Trope, drafted the subpoena. Sands’ personal lawyer, Randolph W. Wright, won’t say whether the info Sands has is protected by the attorney-client privilege.( I Dont know why he got denied he seems to be the only one to really care for her)
