Playing a key role in the scene since 1998, Matthias Gewalt has received a reputation of bringing energy and emotion to not only the club scene, but radio, CD player and mp3 players around the world alike. His love and devotion to expose people to dance music has driven him to constantly influence dance enthusiasts and novices by not only playing music, but providing avenues for people to come together to enjoy the different genres of dance music. Matthias as performed across the United States and oversees, bringing driving and uplifting Trance to the masses. His style has often been compared to the great Trance players with a new twist. His resume not only includes performances at many clubs and with many headliners, but also includes performances at many festivals, including WMC, radio programs, and other events. Through his production company, Equilibrium, Matthias has helped promote dance music in Tennessee through radio residencies and shows, monthly and weekly events, and one off events. Matthias has also worked with Sony Entertainment and Screen Gem Studios to do full movie release parties.
Matthias has recently moved to Denver, Colorado and has already began his footprint in the Denver scene. With performances on two Denver NYEs, he has also played for many parties and festivals, and wants to keep pumping out the music. Near future plans for Matthias and Equilibrium includes rolling out an on-line radio station named Equilibrium Radio at the end of March which will showcase great DJs from around the country.

DIRECTIONS: Take Santa fe south past Highland Ranch. Take a right at Highway 67 at Sedalia. This is a tiny town with 2 gas stations and some mexican food and ice cream places. (this is you last chance to get anything you need) Set your trip milage counter to zero. Continue on up exactly ten miles and you will see a sign that says Rampart Range, Take a left on to the dirt road. Reset your trip counter again. Go 12 miles to the 12 mile marker and start looking on your right for a lime green sign and some glow sticks hanging about a quarter mile past the mile marker. Turn right up into the parking area and park. Park smart and make sure you will be able to get out and that no one will be able to park you in or you will have a hard time leaving. (I don't want to announce 50 times for people to move their cars like last year.)
Then follow the string trail down to the party area. If you are spinning or are with the prodution company we will have a special area to set up your tent away from the rukus behind the booth. Try to find me or Tom and have fun. If you need anything at all there is a WAL-MART and a Grocery store a few miles south of Sedalia on Santa Fe.
