I run a bunch of organizations that altogether aim at pretty much the same goal of educating via entertainment.

With our planet getting closer to a state of crisis, and the human spirit being dampened by hedonism and consumerism, it is now vital that change and options for change are introduced rapidly. For this to happen, the voices of those who offer constructive solutions and offers for change have to be heard louder and clearer than ever before and be introduced in all aspects of society. Events4Change sets out to support this progressive movement by providing Non Governmental Organizations, Charities, and Ethical Businesses, with new, creative ways to reach young people in particular, through the use of multimedia, installations, artistic performances, and the production of both large and small scale musical and cultural events. By doing this we aim to further the presence of an educational dimension in the world of arts and entertainment and harness the power of their collective influence to promote positive, progressive thinking especially in the young part of society that contains the hope for the future of our planet.

Luminopolis (formerly known as The Synergy Project) is a magical indoor festival, combining musicians, Djs, Vjs, performers, and artists from all corners of creativity, joined by various proactive NGO’s and charities with the expressed aim to make a difference.

Luminopolis strives to create an optimistic approach in raising awareness on the many crucial issues affecting our world today. The events gather some of the UK’s leading creative multimedia organizations joined by international NGO’s such as Oxfam, Survival, Speak, Ecoshelter, WDM, Down2Earth, Greenpeace, Campaign Against Climate Change to provide just the right mix of open hearted enjoyment and meaningful reflection for a new direction.

In a society in which generally perceives clubbing as a form of escapism associated with values of transgression, Luminopolis re-invented the clubbing experience by transforming it into an ‘educational’ tool, associating healthy values of sustainability and social justice to strong role models such as respected artists and performers of the entertainment industry. Creating awareness with more efficient means to reach directly a young audience that might be otherwise reluctant to receive, respect, and incorporate such messages when proposed by conventional sources.

The Folktronica events gather some of the most intriguing artists from various contemporary music scenes, who due to the sophisticated or experimental nature of their music remain generally unknown to mainstream culture, but are well recognised and respected within many underground circles.

The events also other similar genres that are somehow interconnected to that musical spectrum. Post Rock|Post-Jazz|Ambient|Glitch|Nu-Gazer|IDM and many other cross overs are all considered by many critics to be the most avant-garde contemporary musical movements. Yet it is only in recent years that they have finally began to gain the deserved recognition, as the internet allowed both their fans and musicians from across the globe to interact more closely and create awareness.

The Folktronica events held in London aims to act in a similar fashion, creating a hub where both fans and musicians of such genres can find a place to meet, perform, exchange ideas and harness the future evolution of music. Folktronica is a series of events aimed at promoting all those beautiful dimensions of sound.

Future Music is a new series of club nights / mini-festivals aimed at promoting some of the most cutting edge sounds present in the contemporary world of Electronic Music. The age of the internet and global interaction has harnessed an exciting cross-pollination of sounds giving birth to a wide array of new genres and sub-genres. Future Music is a multi-room event which brings to London some of these exciting new sounds spanning genres including Tech-Funk | Breaks | Electro | Minimal Techno | Tech-House | Dubstep | Glitch-Hop | IDM | Glitch | Electronica & all the bits in between...

I'm a Dj on Native State Records (USA), Archangel Music (UK) , and Blood Tribe Records (UK).
When I Dj I generally play: Breaks | Tech-House | Electro | Techno & Tech-Funk for uptempo sets, Dubstep | Glitch-Hop & random Electronica for midtempo sets, Ambient | Glitch | PsyDub | Nugaze for downtempo sets, and sometimes, if the time is right, I love playing some Shoegaze|Post-Rock & Post-Jazzy experimental kind of stuff =)

I always had a strong passion for music, and being lucky enough to grow up traveling around the world i seem to have picked up a very broad appreciation for sounds of all sorts. I generally stayed away from the commercial side of things, never liked mtv or the radio, i felt the underground had more exiting, fresh, and clever sounds. So lots of my time is spent searching for more and more unknown music... I listen to pretty much all sorts of stuff, both live and electronic, and maybe I'm a bit too obsessed with classifying everything into very specific genres. But labeling and classifying music is the only way that i can keep up and make sense of it all in my head =)
