Bored with the same old gay scene and in need of something different in our beloved Renaissance City?
Fear no more. GGBPvd is here at last!
Originally started in San Francisco as an alternative to the usual, and often expected scenes in gay nightlife- GGB has crossed the globe and landed right here in Providence.
On the SECOND Friday of every month we are taking-over one of Providence's coolest straight bars and making it "gay" for one night only.

Heres the deal:
1. Mark your calendar for the SECOND Friday of each month.
2. Join one of our many social networking groups here and on Facebook / Yahoo! OR sign-up with GGBPvd@Live.com and now you can follow us on Twitter to receive the latest updates on that months location.
3. The day before our takeover, the Guerrilla Gays choose a really cool "straight bar" that needs some sprucing up. (Think Queer Eye for the Straight Bar, minus the makeover and all that running!)
The Gay Guerrilla Gods from 'up-above' won't tell us the location until the night before so as to not give away the surprise!
5. Once the info is out, grab your main gays and head to the specifide locale en masse as we launch a fun and friendly "attack" on the unsuspecting straight-bar, officially making it queer for the night.
6. Back to the uge for another month.
Rinse, lather, repete until our mission is complete.

Our goal: to create fun and inclusive opportunities through positive interactions within the communities around us and in doing so...
These events are NON-confrontational and give us a chance to look beyond our boundaries, to step away from whats [not] happening on Richmond, Snow, and Union Streets and to try something different for one night out of the month; with people we might never think to hang with.
