I was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. I tipped cows in Jasper, drank underage in San Angelo, broke my foot in Huntsville, waited tables in Mesquite, answered phones in Carrollton, and designed T-shirts in The Colony. Now, I reside in fabulous Denton, Texas, smoke too many cigarettes, and write short stories, all while contemplating the status of my non-existent garden. I love Pabst Blue Ribbon, my grandma, smoky bars, dysfunctional families, and Sunday afternoon card games.
