Who are these girls, anyway?
Girls Girls Girls have been an artistic collective since September 2003, and are currently comprised of 9 members (including two fabulous musicians). We strive to present shows that have both entertaining story arcs and clearly recognizable musical theater elements, such as singing and dancing.
The Girls are Shana, Erin, Kacey, Andrea, Julie, Aden, and Sarah, along with our wonderful musicians, Michael Brockman, and Jason Laney.

Influences
Plenty of musical theatre, live theatre, comedy, drama, performance art, movies, music, television, taco stands and telephone repair men. We take the ordinary everyday experience and craft a musical new to us and to you while simultaneously exploring what it is to live in this crazy world.
About the Girls...
Girls Girls Girls is Austin, Texas's only all-female improvisation troupe. Our specialty is creating long-form improvised musicals from a single audience suggestion. The Girls and their live musicians make up the songs, dances, characters, and stories all on the spot to create one complete story.
How it works...
At the top of the show we take an audience suggestion of a location where a lot of people might gather... When the lights come back up, you're there! In front of your very eyes and with no planning, we set the tone, the time, and begin to tell the story of this environment. You may witness a suggestion of Hospital and then see it spring into action doctors preparing for surgery or patients anxiously waiting in the waiting room. You'll follow the story through a number of transforming events in the characters lives, exploring themes and emotions from scene to scene. The Girls weave in and out of each character's story bringing the audience around full circle to a grand finale. Thoughout it all, the Girls incorporate musical theater-style improvised songs, complete with dancing and backing vocals. And yes, we're really making it all up as we go along!
