I think it's time to change this portion...

"ABOUT ME... " Well, I'm not sure what to write. I guess how I envision myself is probably different than what others see, so maybe I'll just try to punt on this one.

Let's see... I dislike lies of any sort and people who try to cover them up. I'm too old to give a damn if you have a secret or not and I'm way too old to care how you feel about me. I think your opinion of me really isn't my business. So now that I've got that bitchiness out of the way~ let's move on..

I think 'sexy' is a great sense of humor! If you have a sense of humor, and I am talking about a warped sense of humor-which I have; chances are I am going to think you're adorable. I love people who take chances because the outcome is favorable. Anything that has to do with staying positive; I'm all over. I think we are here on this earth to #1- TO BE HAPPY. #2- TO HELP PEOPLE WE ARE ABLE TO HELP. Anything that impinges or impairs that process should be eliminated. I dislike people who take advantage of hard working people. I think it sucks and pretty much will call you out if I see it. I don't give a shit if I am in a room with millionaires or just plain ol' laborers who actually sweat for a living. I treat everyone the same. If you are nice to me, I will be nice to you.

I will believe everything you tell me; if I find a lie. I will never believe another word you say.

I think it's NEVER to late to do what you want in life. If it's in your heart and you want to try it, you SHOULD JUST DO IT. I believe in dreams.

I think the music industry is unfair to women, because of the sexuality factor. I know I'm going to get shit for this, but here goes.... music is a very visual environment. If you don't have the 'look' you're not in...you have to try twice as hard to be noticed no matter what your talent is. I think that goes for both sexes. Women who have an attitude are ridiculed, but then asked for direction later on. Never understood that one....

In any case....

I am a serious music enthusiast and love to express myself through my writing. Whether it's writing lyrics, poetry or reporting for CHICAGOSROCK. I will NEVER write negative press and it's not because I was told not to... it is because I feel that there is way too much negativity floating around everywhere; why would I want to add to that? If I dislike the topic/band/story~ I won't write about it and you won't see my name on it as a writer. plain and simple.

I love Jesus with all my heart. I teach my children about God and share my faith with people who ask. I'm not into forcing my views on others. I am a 'doer' not a talker. I think ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS .. I am also human. I don't profess to be something that I am not. I always ask myself how can I make a difference? and Is this in the direction of goodness? which again is being positive... I really don't want to get into why~ that's just the way that I am.

I respect what I see in my camera lens. I try to make the images as interesting as I can. I find it challenging. I hope you like my artwork.

I love, love, love children. They are little angels as far as I'm concerned. I have an incredibly, supportive and loving Italian/Irish family with lots of kids in it. We're pretty typical and a lot of fun.

I dislike runaway drama. I hate hearing it, I hate being a part of it. You will find that I don't have much to say if it involves certain levels of drama.. it's just too exhausting for me.

Rarely, am I a jealous person; but if I get to this point.. you'd better run. :o)

I love motorcycles, old cars and racing; not NASCAR-even though I moved an engine for Michael Andretti (thanks Michael for the Castrol baseball cap for my son), I would like to race myself. I guess I'm not your average 'girl'.

I love animals-all kinds. I love landscaping (I think that goes with being Italian) and I love cooking---immensely. I think I'm pretty good at it. Maybe you'll get a chance to try it if I like you enough...

I want to make a difference. I want to leave my son with a good impression of his mom and for him to know that the moments we share on earth are very priceless and each one should be valued. I want him to be a caring individual at any cost without being a pushover.

I also think it sucks that my son can't ride his bike down the street without me being there, or that I can't let him walk to his friends house 4 blocks away because there are so many strange people walking the streets. I hate the way the world has evolved since I was younger. I think we all have an obligation to get back to basics starting with the government. I think the Constitution should be amended since it was written by moral people in 1776 and since then, morality just flew out the window. I think it's insane to think ethics are the same now as they were then. I won't endorse a candidate or a party for President. Remember? If you can't say something nice.....

I think Autism has been a man-made illness from the preservatives and toxins all around us. I really think this planet is more polluted than we really know. That--is a terrible shame. What's an even worse shame is that there is no one out there to 'fix it'. Who do you go to for help for that???

I think we should just try and love each other more. Each person that you come across in this lifetime is loved by someone. Maybe if we remembered that, it would be a kinder, less violent place to live.
