VOODOO BOOGIE/FREE COMIC BOOK DAY

This is a new book written and illustrated by Shawn Cruz.  The book will be premiered at Danger Zone Comics (Salem, OR) on FREE COMIC BOOK DAY, May 3^rd 2008.  It will be given out for FREE, of course, so if you want to get your copy then come to Danger Zone! 

I will be at Danger Zone along side Art Thibert (Ultimate Spiderman/Ultimate XMen), and some UFC fighter guy, I don't who he is, but apparently he's pretty tough.  (We'll see about that!)

It's the story of a disfigured little girl, who grows up to be a ghoulish shut-in that creates voodoo dolls to harm Hollywood celebrities.  Since she's horribly disfigured, so she likes to attack the attractive ones most of all.  But one day she creates a little voodoo doll that ends up coming to life, and taking something of hers…and now she will unleash horrors from the nether regions to hunt him down!

EMERALD CITY COMICON – SEATTLE, WA

This will be the BIGGEST show Curbjob has ever attended!  We'll be rubbing elbows with the likes of ERIC POWELL (The Goon), SLAVE LABOR GRAPHICS (Johnny the Homicidal Maniac) and SUICIDE GIRLS!  

Not sure which table is ours yet but I'll update before the show.  We'll have copies of GHASTLY PARABLES, VOODOO BOOGIE, and a preview of our project in the works, SUBVERT CITY.
