About me:

Green Hills is a private, non-profit community action organization serving the rural population within a nine county area in Northern Missouri. We offer such programs as emergency assistance, affordable housing assistance, employment training and education, women’s health services, as well as support and shelter to victims of domestic violence and abuse. We offer limited women’s health and domestic violence services in five additional counties. We strive to improve the quality of life for the people of our region by moving them toward a more self-sufficient lifestyle.

Our Services:

Emergency Assistance: Heating, cooling and food emergencies.

Housing Assistance: Affordable housing.

Weatherization: Insulating, home repairs and window replacement.

Women’s Health Services: Specializing in women’s health care/sexually transmitted diseases/testing.

Employment & Training: On-the-job training, classroom occupational training, employment workshops and youth services.

Tax Assistance Program: Assistance in filing basic tax forms and senior citizen income tax credits.

Green Hills Women’s Shelter: Working to ensure the safety of domestic violence/sexual assault victims.
