Before I begin, I should say that, I understand that you probably don’t want to listen to my babble. In fact, when I
consider the precedence set for me by HBO, I am reminded of the days, when I was a youth Evangelist in Oakland, going
to the Open Door Mission with the proud members of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church family, with gospel and good
will at heart.
(But watching a feeling the hungry homeless as they sat through painful minutes of our biblical banter - when all they
wanted was a good meal and a clean place to lay - actually embarrassed me , and I was only 12.)

My name is Jessica Holter, but folks call me Ghetto Girl Blue. I am most known as The Founder of The Punany Poets
(A controversial Company of Theater Actors who promote Safer Sex through erotic poetry based cabaret.) What people
don't know? I am a mom. A very proud mom with a great son who loves himself very much.
Since he was born in 1996 my life has been dedicated to showing him, by example that anyone with a dream, supported
by a plan and raw dog ambition can make miracles happen. I believe this to my bones, ‘cause I grew up in a foster care
home and knew my mother, only as the white lady, who visited every Tuesday. Really. And now that I have seen the
world I want it all for him. My son.
I thank God for the gifts he has loaned me, and look forward, every day, to passing them on.
My life has unfolded before me like "Flowers in Bloom" (Thanks Keno). I never could have imagined that so many
people would be moved to listen, to love, and to participate in my dream - The Punany Project, a beautifully graphic
warning of AIDS in Black American Blood.

The Punany Poets are the performance division of my larger company The Punany Poets Entertainment, LLC. We work
with a non-profit organization called AFACT (www.afact.org) to promote AIDS awareness through art.
The Punany Poets first book and anthology complete with poetry, safer sex messages and photos was completed in 1998.
I gathered the writers together weekly to promote the book in a little known club in downtown Oakland, CA called Du
Soliel for about 6 weeks before HBO Real Sex producers were sent a copy of our Psalms, and the rest is Real Sex
History. An 11 minute feature on our young troupe on the popular network has ignited a fire that is in its 4th generation.
In VIDEO on DVD, you will find a few of the many founding members of The Punany Poets, Keno Mapp, DJ
Blackmon, Tracy Bartlow, Branden Pernell, Navato Leonardi, Goldie the Poet, Yolanda Stevenson, Femi Andrades, J
Crow, Mahogany Brown and Eebony Browne who all contributed to the book and the promotional live shows.
Today, live productions, feature an assortment of talent I have added to the ranks of the most controversial poetic troupe
in history. Our current production is Verbal Penetration, named for our new book published by Zane. SLAM of Real
Sex 20, Las Vegas Show Girl Golden (my protege for The Head Doctor character), Bo "MF" Ellis, Kenita James, The
Head Nurse and I (GGB) invite couples, singles and groups into intimate settings across the world where they are free
to enjoy sexuality with others who feel the same. in our pre-show For'Play, we literally have open dialogue with the
participants before we begin a 2 hour episode of Carnal Reality Theater.
