About me:
Located in the heart of Beyoğlu, in a historical building is GHETTO, a music lounge with an architecture in striking contrast with its name. Founded in February 2007, Ghetto in a remarkably short time, has created its own niche in Istanbul, thanks to a unique musical vision and the contributions of an impressive array of local and international artists.
In its second year, GHETTO is continuing to build a platform much richer than a just a "concert venue" - a place which encompasses dıfferent forms of roots and progressive music, after-hour parties, delicious food and striking architecture, an entertainment and cultural platform where people of diverse backgrounds and life styles can mingle.
Just like the age old Mario Cantoni building, the former bakery where GHETTO now lives, GHETTO's musical vision will combine the traditional and the experimental --presenting new ideas founded on the experience of the past.
