   About Ghost Aquarium
Through various circumstances, Ghost Aquarium originated in Orlando, Florida, with Ron K, (guitar/vocals) and later with Sean R (drums/vocals). Following its' relocation to Seattle Wa., the lineup was completed with Andrew S (bass/vocals).

Currently writing and recording new material, Ghost Aquarium applies the reckless abandon approach of classic indie-rock bands like Dinosaur Jr and The Replacements, and takes its' music through deranged avenues of post-punk territory, balanced with pop sensibility. Songs like "A.M. Radio” and “The InThings” are reminiscent of early nineties Shoegaze, while “Light Cannot Escape” and “Spare Change” combines this with Neil Young-inspired guitar driven rock.

With 3 previous self released E.P’s, varying from studio to home recordings, Ghost Aquarium's music reminds us that above all, passion and perseverance are important traits now commonly overlooked, with the status quo’s present emphasis on fifteen-second ring tone and advertisement soundtracks. In sound and spirit, Ghost Aquarium identifies with bands like Sebadoh, honoring the motto: “Just Gimme Indie Rock!!”
