We are currently on a small break in order to take in what inspires us to play music, the constant nothingness and everything-ness of what goes on daily. We aren't dead but for now we are taking time to regroup. Thanks to all those who ever helped us out with shows, good times, friends, smiles, beers, high fives, really anything that turned our immutable angst into more than just another mood swing.

hey guys . i sent the split to get reviewed by kzsu stanford about 8 months ago , and it finally got added to the music directory and finally got a review .
here's what they have to say about it .
Phantom Float 1st band, 90's indie rock with a sense of the expansiveness, theatricality, melodrama of post-rock. Most songs in minor key, 4+mins long, and change a few times.
1.mid-fast start, big middle-end 2.rich electric guitar sounds. Picks up w/funky drum riff halfway through. About being bitten by a vampire? 3.Low key intro, then big bassy music with self-destructive unhappy lyric. Some _ metal bits interspersed with the 4/4. 4.Fast'n'needy 5.Mid-energy. Good guitar/drum rhythm interplay. 6.Great guitar sound, epic set closer. Computer vocal, otherwise an instrumental track until the last minute.
Ghosted 2nd band, straight-up indie rock, even a bit punkish. Great song titles, songs have lots of lyrics without chorus (sorta like Firey Furnaces), musically it's generally fast-paced guitar/drums/bass/angsty M vox. Most tracks on the short side, 3 mins or under.
7.fast & just the right length (2:20) 8.Also on the fast & aggressive side 9.a bit quieter/calmer, less distortion, bass in the forefront 10.speaking & hollering over easy-going riffs, then punk break 11.kinda happy music. Lyrics not so great (well most of the songs lyrics shouldn't be listened to too closely). 12.good drumroll about a minute in. Overall, complaining emo punk. 13. Nice punchy punky
