The first "theater" in the US dedicated exclusively to showing motion pictures was Vitascope Hall, established on Canal Street, New Orleans, Louisiana June 26, 1896: it was converted from a vacant store. Funny to think something like going to the movies is 112 years old. I have my favorite films listed in my photo albums.

I went to see CKY at recher last week. I really was not expecting much because the last time you and I saw them was rather lackluster.. but they were in rare form.. they played almost all of the first 2 albums. Bam , Novack, and April and Phil were also there. It was pretty awesome, and it made me think about all of the hours spent in the basement at woodrow.. and in the upstairs room on Main St...
