Ghost Hounds Paranormal Investigators Network is a not-for-profit group
dedicated to the study of paranormal / supernatural phenomena.
The investigative unit, founded by Patrick Burns in August of 2001, studies
phenomena deemed to be of a "paranormal" nature in a scientific and unbiased
manner.
In under five years, Ghost Hounds has gone on to become one of the most
visited paranormal sites on the web, currently (as of May, 2006) averaging over
24,000 page views and more than 3,700 unique visitors daily.
The investigative unit conducts free investigations of private and public
properties and is available for lectures and interviews.
Ghost Hounds founder Patrick Burns was cast as a co-star in Court TV's new
investigative documentary series "Haunting Evidence" which
premieres on the popular cable network June 14'th at 10:30 PM ET
OUR MISSION
Ghost Hounds objective is not to prove the existence (or non existence) of
ghosts, as most of us believe the mystery is beyond the capabilities of present
understanding and technology to prove one way OR the other. Rather we strive to
collect evidence, study these phenomena and let everyone draw their own
conclusions.
OUR BELIEFS
All members of the group are encouraged to have an open, non-dogmatic mind at
all times.
All members are encouraged to always strive to look for the non-paranormal,
LOGICAL explanation first and foremost. When we have ruled out all other
possibilities, only then may we look to other possible origins of phenomena.
