Influences
Ghost in the Graveyard started, and recorded their first song "Don't" in 2006 thanx to the special advice and guidance of Kap'n Mike of Orange Kap. Ghost in the Graveyard was aptly named by Adriana's daughter Mika, who was then 6 years old. Mika also named the first CD recorded "Wars in the Graveyard." Adriana felt this was appropriate as many of her personal ghosts were in the midst of public quarrel and some lie still sleeping in her personal"graveyard." As time has passed on so have members of the band. The band has seen many changes, but no one can shake the original song-writting team of Adriana Smith & Doug Tilley. Adriana & Doug had tried tiresomely for some years before that to put together a working country-cover band that could gig at local casinos and earn a paycheck. Apparently ghosts in both of their lives relented on their becoming an original band which is currently playing locally in San Diego, and in Hollywood. Ghost in the Graveyard has a unique sound all its own influenced from the musical likes of it's members...ask anyone of the current line-up who is their most influential band and you will get varried answers from "Yes" to "Hellacopters."
