Author and researcher Pat Fitzhugh delves into both classic and obscure tales from the land of cotton, cypress swamps, and moonshine, analyzing and rewriting each tale in his own descriptive words and sharing the haunted history behind it in meticulous detail.

Ghostly Cries From Dixie follows closely along the lines of Fitzhugh's 2003 southern folklore classic, The Bell Witch: The Full Account, which introduced many previously unpublished historical facts and strongly influenced nearly every Bell Witch book written since. And what's more, Ghostly Cries From Dixie will contain a comprehensive, 20-page chapter devoted entirely to the Bell Witch legend!
