Sounds Like
Ghostplane fall very approximately into the category of experimental indie rock/pop with a side of dark alt-country thrown in. With three vocalists, acoustic and electric guitars, miscellaneous semi-functioning electronic devices, lopsided rhythms, old drum machines and due respect to the random element, you could say, in musicological terms, they've got their own thing going.......................................
Beneath The Sleepy Lagoon
..........................................................................................................
Panther Vally Country Club
Ghostplane were formed on the winds of change as Wellington band, Dana Eclair, began reforming their identity. Ghostplane came to represent the fruits of pop/alt-country/indie-rock experiments. Achilles and Mark write lovely, quirky and somewhat dark indie pop gems. The rest of Ghostplane devote our time to making everything sound a bit weird. Ash brings a girl's considered touch to things.
We have two releases out, 2004's "Panther Valley Country Club" mini record and 2005's long player "Beneath The Sleepy Lagoon". We will not be modest - they are rather cracking albums, so check them out.

He undertook the sacrifice of mortal existence three weeks ago, and has resurfaced in the etheral plane to play guitar-keyboard as spiritual resonance.
I'm not sure if I ever told you, but if I haven't: "In Blue Light" is so unbelievably powerful and beautiful it's almost absurd. 140 ~ 215 are my favorite 30 seconds of any sounds I have heard come out of this lovely country.
