    well, it's official:
effectively immediately, all external operations shall cease.

I no longer have access to the homestead which was to be used for lodging.

Like everything else, I view this as a sign from God telling me that I am destined for better things.

    Well, perhaps I am...

God is Good, God is Great !!

For the love of the craft,

    It's time to move on...
The on-line community has been a complete let down.
    No interest.
    No exploration.
...and G-D forbid something new is put out

I take issue with those who want things in an immediate form.
There is no reason for this.

It's time for me to take a much needed sabbatical from this computer world.
I'm returning to an age back when there was physical media and that music was considered a legitimate form of art.

Today the craft is dead. It's lifeless, and generic.

If you crave more food for thought, I can be reached through this site by simply sending me a message. But don't expect an immediate reply, instead expect a reply when I get around to it.

    Enjoy,

I had a real wild conversation with Joe up in Mass, man after listening him I really thought about playing electric bass once again... We will make plans to meet soon.

Yesterday, we attempted to journey back to Bay Ridge Brooklyn to the Three Jolly Pigeons not only to see the Box of Crayons (not the prog rock UK band) perform. We never made it. Mechanical troubles brought our jeep to a halt at Tilllery and Green st in the Ft Green section of Brooklyn. Four hours later, the jeep was on a flatbed heading back to Derby - actually Ansonia - with me and wolF up front in the cab with a driver who made mention that he smokes but does not drink. Possibly the best ride back home in a long time, because I was a passanger for a change. I got to look out and see thing's I normally would never have the chance to see...

So, now a dilema is in place: I am in a situation where I can possibly get some brilliant playing in, but without a reliable ride this won't be possible.

Possible replacements include a base 2WD Jeep Liberty...

Listening to an interesting recording which Zack Kiley gave me a few years back. Very good too...

Tonight: lots to think about regarding future times. Also recognize the need to start practicing once again, something I have not done in many years... butthis is good, because my style will now be fresh as opposed to resting on my laurals...

    Enjoy...

    the homestead.

After a move and much sorting and shuffling, I am back.
While this is a much better situation time we tell for sure.

Today: off to the Three Jolly Pigeons to see the Box Of Crayons perform. Should be fun.

Met Charlene this morning while mowing the grass around the studio grounds. It's been a long time since we last spoke. Noticed that this was also the first time ever seeing her in a dress. She is one tough but good woman. I still have her phone number, which she told me is no longer in service. I did not seek or receive her new one.

We have about 4 and a half hours to kill before making the journey to Bay Ridge.
    My return shall be triumphant...

    Hans...
