OK, i've finally moved house, got my studio back (bigger & better than ever) and I still run Saturdays at Tonic Lounge. Yes, my friends this weekly Saturday night has never wavered it's music policy in 5 1/2 years. Which is why this place packs out with fun loving soul individuals each and every week. It is still and has always been about original (rare/not so rare) soul/funk/latin/jazz/disco/afro/rare groove/reggae/hiphop which always makes this party bump in all the right places. "What about new music" I hear you say. Don't fret, new grooves are welcome as much as the old ones as long as they capture that same feeling. The night has been really successful over the years and not without the help of many local DJ's, chums and the odd guest both interstate and international. Regulars include - Nick Toth, Noel Boogie, Simon Caldwell, DJ Kinetic, James Locksmith, Frenzie, Tom Tutton, Meem, Mr Chad, and of course me ol mukka Mr Downtown Brown.

FINALLY!!! The live video of Mr. Confuse & The Confusers playing at the Mephisto Club in Hannover Germany on 27th September 2008 is ready. It was the album release concert of the Mr. Confuse album “Feel The Fire” released on Légère Recordings as DLP, CD and digital in September 2008.
so had another listen to your mix...i got 3 tracks on it, the cover of Chic on the florian keller comp, the track which has a cover of brick house on te flip with a ghetto arse on the cover, and the found a child which you gave me the heads up on as well...as for the 1st track you are a sum-um-a-bitch! I have a cover of that track done by the strike boys which is also dope - not funk but a good cover none the less...werd! lets hook up on Friday if you like?
