In a field of vocalists that include John Legend, Ne-Yo , Musiq and Usher, Gyant stands tall amongst his peers. At 6' 6" tall he's been in the background singing demo hooks for artists such as Jada kiss and Billie Lawrence. He's now ready to take center stage.
Open Bar is Gyant's debut album in which he's singing to the ladies. This album is all about hustling at the Job trying to make it in the recession and the love and support of the Brown eyed woman that kept him going.
The fisrt single "If I Were Your G For a Day" is available on iTunes "NOW". The album is due out Fall 2009.

Charlie "CJ" Jones’s Summary
Charlie Jones is one of the most highly sought after TV Production audio mixers. He won the Daytime Emmy Award in 2008 for his work on CBS's Daytime Drama Guiding Light and is one of few African-American to receive the award.
His other TV mixing credits include Elvis Costello's new show "Spectacle", "The Chris Rock Show", Jamie Foxx's Laffapolooza, Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham", Bill Clinton's Global Initiative for Live Nation, Showtime at the Apollo, MTV's "TRL", and "Choose or Lose" and Late Show with David Letterman.
Charlie Jones "CJ" recently launched Urban Melodic Entertainment Inc., an artist development company and Imprint dedicated to scouting and developing new artists. He is currently Audio Supervisor at the CBS Broadcast Center in New York where he oversees audio for BET, Guiding Light and Inside Edition and was featured in Mix Magazine for his work on The Chris Rock Show.
