I am not Anishinaabeg (Ojibwa) nor can I speak or read Anishinaabemowin very well. However, the name e-waabishkiiyed ndaaw translates into, roughly, "I am a white person," which I feel is rather appropriate for me; being both white and a person.
The Anishinaabeg culture is one of the more fascinating ones I have ever had the honor of experiencing. I am a very poor musician and I believe it shows in these songs, but I want to honor the phrase “Naangide'e.” It means, “Have a happy heart.”
I hope these songs please the listener. I do not try to pass myself off as something other than what I am; a poor amateur scratching the surface of a language that stretches back all the way to the beginning of the Great Lakes and the world.
hmm...that's always a hard question. i will infact listen to nearly anthing but techno. i try to avoid that, but my favourite band happens to be Coldplay. what about you?
hmm when im not online...i think i do every band related activity possible, party a little, and then work on my drawing and writing. i'm looking into a career in writing but at my age that could very well change so idk yet.
