This 24-year-old prodigy enjoys the feeling she expresses through her music. I may be young but I have a lot to say. Ive experienced a lot in my life so far. I express myself better when I write a poem or a song. She states with great confidence and approachability. I have traveled my whole life and encountered different things, people and ways of living. I believe that has contributed to the type of music I enjoy and perform.
Giel has traveled the world singing in such countries as Panama; Costa Rica; Trinidad & Tobago; Puerto Rico; St. Martin; Amsterdam; and the Barbados Isles. By fifteen (15), she had won all sorts of competitions and talent shows. Giel was then asked at nineteen (19) to perform America the Beautiful on national TV, (broadcasted on UPN and the Sunshine Network) for a boxing match between Chasteen and Whitaker.
With her incredible lyrics and warm and unique voice, Giels music takes you on a journey back to the soulful croons of Rhythm & Blues onto the styles and message understood in Alternative. Not to mention the tangible stories of everyday life as told in Hip-Hop. Her amiable aura, unique style and inviting smile guarantees to have you by the first note.
In the pool of new and talented artists, Giel is among those whose drive and passion for what she does best, keeps her at the top; promising to have been worth the wait for her introduction to the world.
