I have no idea about what to suggest about work... although ski fields and bars might enjoy hiring aussies.
If you like multiculturalism and 2am club closing times, go to Toronto. If you like rain, friendly people and hot women, try Vancouver. If you wanna get the full Canadian stereotype experience, go to Newfoundland.
The only city I went to was Montreal. Protip: You will not pick up if your French sucks. You better like strip clubs and the Electroacoustic Music scene is huge over here. Iconic food is called Putin, which is basically curdled cheese with gravy over chips. If you're homophobic, stay well away from this city. Clubs with the best music are Parking (Gay club), Stereo (Mega gay club). Be sure to check out 1195 Rue de Saint-Laurent. There's usually a lot of good events at that venue. It's called SAT (Socialite des Artes Technologique). So yeah, Montreal... great place.
As for what I've been doing? Well, I think that would be best answered over a coffee sometime. I need to get back in the UWS crowd. Reprasentin' YO!...
