I am a comedy writer of real-life fiction of the brutally honest persuasion. I take real life situations and instead of turning them into another boring self-help book, I weave them into a humorous messaged storyline with realistic characters that my readers can relate to without actually admitting it . . . out loud. As Leccie said- A real Choking Hazard, Baby! It's not that I can't write a self-help book. My mutant Sarcasm Gene prevents people from taking that kind of work from me seriously. I'm the one who said Winnie the Pooh and Piglet are a gay couple. Since I grew up reading extensive Dave Barry in the famed and beloved Miami Herald (famed and beloved only because when I was in the 4th grade, I was the lucky "minority" kid to have her picture in the Herald alongside a then shamelessly-vote-pandering congressman Dante Fascell), I am sometimes deemed a DB Throwback.
