Gilda Bliss is just one in a number of musical aliases that Alan Williams has gone by. Liverpool based bedroom musician Alan Williams, has been producing experimental, ambient and faintly avant-garde instrumentals for about 7 years.
Adding to noisy backgrounds are bluesy vocal loops, distant cries, strings, dystopian ambience and movie samples to build a somewhat graceful but eerie soundscape.
Easy listening this is not, as it wilfully and playfully antagonizes the listener, but in it contains unsuspected moments of beauty.
Best listened to loudly.
