Hello, My name is Giles Paley-Phillips, I was born in 1977, and I live and work in East Sussex with my wife, Michelle and 1 year old son, Eli. I have had my poems published in many literature magazines including, parameter magazine, the underground window, pyramid magazine, black listed magazine, city chic, parable visions, monkey kettle, inclement magazine, 63 channel magazine, poetry anthology, silenced press, shooting life magazine and poetic hours. I have recently completed my second book of poetry, "the indiscretions of a bleeding heart", following on from my debut "Linear Hymns" the book is another collection of adult poems and lyrics, this time looking at fear, loss, and apathy. Linear hymns, my first collection is about a twenty something man still trying to come to terms with the death of his mother to leukaemia when he was 6 years old. Both books have all proceeds going to Leukaemia research. In the last couple of years I have been writing children’s picture book stories and poems. i am currently in the process of compiling a book of nonsense poetry with illustrations by Hugh stockdale Recently my Poem “the things you never knew about dinosaurs” was selected by storynory to be included in their show.
