Recently, after having visit the Northeast of Brazil I became a fan of the rhythmic diversity of that region: Baião, Xote, Xaxado, Côco, Embolada, Arasta-pé, maracatu among others.
Lately I have been working with Master Peninha Vieira da Paraíba with the band “FORRÓ FEDERAL”. The CD “Entre Xotes e Xaxados” recorded at the Studio Zen in Brasília, com Dadá e Nivaldo do Acordeon, Charli da Zabumba, Fernando Machado sax and clarinet, Paulinho do Trombone, Sivuquinha, Felipe Viegas piano, Pedrinho Martins guitar, Bruno Caselato drums, Leander Motta percussion, Carol, Ludmila e Eli Moura backing vocal.
“Django” a baião with abit of salsa made for the great master gypsy of the guitar Django Reinhardt. “Toque outra vez Sam “ (Play again Sam) is a traditional xote, “Lu de Caruaru” is a arrasta-pé, a happy rhythym. Thank you again, best regards, enjoy the song.

Recentemente depois de conhecer o nordeste do Brasil ficou encantado com a variação rítmica daquela região: tem baião, xote, xaxado, côco, arrasta-pé entre outros ritmos que se denominam FORRÓ (Luiz Gonzaga, Jackson do Pandeiro e Dominguinhos). Atualmente vem trabalhando com o mestre Peninha Vieira da Paraíba com a banda "FORRÓ FEDERAL", o CD "Entre Xotes e Xaxados" gravado no Estúdio Zen em Brasília, com Dadá e Nivaldo do Acordeon, Charli da Zabumba, Fernando Machado no sax e clarineta, Paulinho do Trombone, Argemiro do trompete, Sivuquinha, Felipe Viegas e seu fiel escudeiro, o guitarrista Pedrinho Martins, Bruno Caselato na bateria, Leander Motta na percussão, Carol, Eli Moura e Ludmila (backing vocal). "Django" um baião com uma pitada de salsa feita em homenagem a Django Reinhardt o grande guitarrista cigano; “Lu de Caruaru” ..um arrasta-pé; Toque outra vez Sam” (Play again Sam) é um xote tradicional.
