"Brain Damage" was a comedy/variety radio show that arose out of a pre-apocalyptic Adelaide in the year you humanoids call 2007 and broadcast on a community radio station called "Radio Adelaide 101.5FM" Friday nights at midnight (or Saturday mornings, depending on how anal you are!) local Adelaide time.
All 4 members had hosted comedy radio shows before; Nick Godfrey had loved the medium of radio ever since travelling back in time to 1900 and inventing it, and just 105 years later he hosted "The Financial Hour," along with Nathan Sharrad, a compulsive liar and Olympic gold medalist and Nobel Prize-winner (or so he loosely claimed). Mein Führer Matty B also hosted "The Financial Hour" with Nick & Nathan, but also quenched his thirst for urine with "The Golden Shower Half Hour" in 2006. Then the other guy, who claimed to be David M. Green but who was really an umemployed Scandanavian vampire robot, hosted a show called "The Green Room," where he played nothing but Devo all day long to prevent spontaneous combustion...
But the question remained, what would happen if one were to combine all these otherwise illegitimate comedy shows into one genetically-engineered "Super-Show?" The answer was so complicated it gave all those who contemplated it brain damage, and so from this lack of creativity, "Brain Damage" was born in a hail of superpositioning and maple syrup... If you yourself were to ever tune in... you just might have ended up with... "Brain Damage!" ...Well... that was kinda the idea...
