Only two defining forces have ever offered to die for you....Jesus Christ and the American Soldier. One died for your soul, the other for your freedom.

I LOVE to crochet. So I decided that I would start a business where people can order handmade creations for themselves or family members. I named this business....
Canterbury's Courtly Crochet Creations
So how did I pick the name "Canterbury's Courtly Crochet Creations"?
The Canterbury Tales: The last work of Geoffrey Chaucer, written after 1387 but unfinished at his death in 1400. The tale, an important insight into the perspectives of the various men of the middle ages, is written with an introduction describing the procession of pilgrims to Beckett's shrine at Cantebury, followed by a collections if tales told by each member of the company. Chaucer is one of my favorite writers and The Canterbury Tales is one of my favorite stories..
Courtly: polite, refined, or elegant: courtly manners. flattering; obsequious. noting, pertaining to, or suitable for the court of a sovereign.
Far better it is,
To dare mighty things,
To win glorious triumphs,
Even though checkered
with failure,
Than to take rank
with those poor spirits
Who neither enjoy much
or suffer much,
Because they live
in the Great Twilight
That knows neither victory
nor Defeat.

I have a lot of interests, but here are a "few" of my favorites:

Going to the Beach
Photography. Mostly nature pictures
Being online. Checking emails, being here on MySpace, playing games on my computer like Guild Wars, StarCraft, WarCraft, etc., and listening to music.
Music
I listen mostly to:
when I want to listen to music, and it is the only station we listen to in the car.
I also love the music over on my player
~ Of Course ~ or they would not be on there!
Now that I have accepted GOD back into my life, I am listening mostly to Christian music. I believe that what you bring into your life is what you get out of it.
Here are a few of my Favorite Singers/Bands:
Aaron Shust
Jars of Clay
Rush of Fools
Brandon Heath
His song Im not who I was is a strong and powerful song for me. It describes my life - completely.
Our beautiful and smart daughter has recently introduced me to Corbin Bleu. I really like his songs Push it to the Limit and ... She also likes The Jonas Brothers and Ally and AJ, so I listen to them a lot too. They are really pretty good. I enjoy it. She has good taste.
As much as I listen to Christian music, I still love my Country and Rock and Roll. I just do not listen to it as often as I used too.
My all time favorite always has been and always will be ~ ~ ~ Bon Jovi!

Books
I believe in our nation's literacy. The future of our world depends on the education of our children.
Anything by Steven King. I love almost every book and movie of his that I have seen except IT but that is because I do not like clowns.
EVERYTHING written by Clive Cussler. I am so happy that he finally allowed another movie {Sahara - for those of you that do not know. Raise the Titanic was the first and it was not done so well} to be made. Now that it turned out so well, I hope that he will release more books to become movies!
Roger Zellany - We are currently reading The Great Book of Amber. Actually, I should not say we - Whence reads it to me. Which is another reason why I love him so much. He is so sweet and caring. I love the quiet time we get to spend together curled up on the bed and listening to him read. I love it!
Frakir's (our ball python) name comes from this book. He definitely lives up to his name too, except Frakir is a girl in the book and we think our snake is a boy.
Anne McCaffrey. She is a VERY talented women and author. I love her books. I am so excited about the movie coming out next year. I hope it turns out well so she will release more later on.
May 25th is her birthday and also our daugther's
Another GREAT book is 1001 Ways to Be Romantic by Gregory J. P. Godek. It is definitely a book to live by.
And my husband Whence's books! I am lucky enough to be the editor for him. I love to read all his stories. He is VERY talented, brilliant, smart and articulate. He is truly gifted.
Heroes
Whence
He has shown me how great life and true love can be. He is kind and caring and everything that I need.
I believe in him with everything in me. He can accomplish anything he puts his mind to do, and he will be great at it too. He is a wonderful man, a great husband and a very caring dad.
All the brave men and women that sacrifice everything to keep us safe. Freedom is NEVER free, it requires many sacrifices.
* Some pay with time away from family, missing the birth of their children, the first steps, first words, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and never being able to say goodbye to loved ones that pass away while they are away serving us all and this nation.
* Some pay the ultimate price by buying our freedom with their lives.
These brave men and women are the TRUE HEROES.
This is the land of the free BECAUSE the BRAVE!
People who stand for truth and righteousness in all they do.
All the past, present and future Presidents. Not all people appreciate what they have to go through. You might not always agree with what they do, what they say or their actions but the job is extremely tough and they put their lives on the line to do their best for this great country we call home. I would love to meet all of them and to be able to talk to them and gain even just a minute amount of their wisdom.

Yes, my husband is running for President in 2012. He has a deep passion and devotion to this amazing country and I KNOW he will make a great President. I support him with everything I have and I am very proud of him for accepting this immense responsibility.
An ideal President is both ruthless and compassionate, visionary and pragmatic, cunning and honest, patient and bold, combining the eloquence of a psalmist with the timing of a jungle cat.
Not exactly the sort of data you can find on a resume.
So What do I do all day?
Have you ever seen that Anita Renfroe video where she sings the "Mom Song" to the William Tell Overture?
Well that is pretty much what I do all day. :D
I used to say that...
"I am a Research Associate in the field of Child Development and Human Relations.
I have a continuing program of research, in the laboratory and in the field. I am working for my Masters, and already have five credits. Of course, the job is one of the most demanding in the humanities, and I often work 16 plus hours a day. But the job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers and the rewards are more of a satisfaction rather than just money."
I am so much more than "just another mother."
Motherhood! What a glorious career!
I LOVE MY FAMILY!
Actually, I jusy finished a Medical Insurance Billing and Coding program at Everest College and now looking for a career in this field. The timing just is a bit rough right now.
I love to crochet and have often made various creations for friends and family. They all seem to think that I should do this "for a living" so I am going to try.
So welcome to ~ ~
to all my friends and family that have been so supportive and encouraging.
The love of my Life:
Most people will probably not comprehend what we have with each other, what our life or our marriage is.
It is one of the best things that ever happened to me.
I would rather die than ever live without him. He is my best friend, my confidant, my biggest fan, and he has made me happier than I ever thought I could be, or deserved to be.
He thinks I can do anything, and because of his love and support, for the first time in a long time now so do I.
There was a time in my life that I thought that I did not have the strength to go on, to fight anymore. Then came Whence. He has rescued me in every sense of the word.
I will NEVER change my mind, and neither will he. We are a true couple. We understand that there will be tough times and that we will not always see eye to eye but we have agreed to work together and do everything we can to stay together. In a time where families give up at the first hint of trouble, this gives me hope for our family.
We both feel that marriage is only worth it if you don't give up on it, no matter what. We are a family, now and forever, we will be together!
We are happy with our lives now, thanks to each other. I would not have it any other way.
I have been truly blessed and I wish everyone could feel love and happiness like I do. It is one of the greatest feelings in the world.
I have wrote a poem that says in it that:
Beginnings are scary…
Endings are sad…
But it is the middle that counts!
We are both here in the middle of our lives and we are making it count. We are truly happy together. Life could not be any better than it is right now. And I know we will be together until the end.
I love yo meet new people and to make new friends. So please feel free to message me.
I would like to meet some people that would love some handmade crochted items. :D
They make great gifts for:
Bithdays
Anniverseries
Christmas
or for any other reason or any occassion.
I would love to meet other crafty and creative people to share stories with and swap ideas.
Pretty much everyone. :D
"You Play Video Games???"
You would not believe how often I hear that. I guess that guys have a hard time thinking that a woman like me would be a gamer. I guess that I do not fit the preconceived notions that most people think when they hear “female gamer”.
I started playing video games after I bought my first system ever in 2003. I bought a Playstation 2 and Final Fantasy X to go with it. I enjoyed it so my collection of games started to grow. Then I was introduced to computer gaming when an old friend recommended that I try playing Guild Wars so after a little debate I tried it in the summer of 2006. I really enjoyed playing it so now my collection of that game is growing and I am eagerly awaiting the release of Guild Wars 2.
Then Whence introduced me to Magic and Dungeons and Dragons and now I am an avid player of both.
Thank you so much for your birthday wishes. I hope all is well and I wish you much luck in your work for 2012.Keep good thoughts and dont stop smiling. Your Friend Bubba
