I LOVE to crochet. So I decided that I would start a business where people can order handmade creations for themselves or family members. I named this business.... Canterbury's Courtly Crochet Creations



So how did I pick the name "Canterbury's Courtly Crochet Creations"?

The Canterbury Tales: The last work of Geoffrey Chaucer, written after 1387 but unfinished at his death in 1400. The tale, an important insight into the perspectives of the various men of the middle ages, is written with an introduction describing the procession of pilgrims to Beckett's shrine at Cantebury, followed by a collections if tales told by each member of the company.
Chaucer is one of my favorite writers and The Canterbury Tales is one of my favorite stories..

Courtly: polite, refined, or elegant: courtly manners. flattering; obsequious. noting, pertaining to, or suitable for the court of a sovereign.

Now that I have accepted GOD back into my life, I am listening mostly to Christian music. I believe that what you bring into your life is what you get out of it.

Our beautiful and smart daughter has recently introduced me to Corbin Bleu. I really like his songs Push it to the Limit and ... She also likes The Jonas Brothers and Ally and AJ, so I listen to them a lot too. They are really pretty good. I enjoy it. She has good taste.


As much as I listen to Christian music, I still love my Country and Rock and Roll. I just do not listen to it as often as I used too.


My all time favorite always has been and always will be ~ ~ ~ Bon Jovi!

I believe in our nation's literacy. The future of our world depends on the education of our children.





Anything by Steven King. I love almost every book and movie of his that I have seen except IT but that is because I do not like clowns.


EVERYTHING written by Clive Cussler. I am so happy that he finally allowed another movie {Sahara - for those of you that do not know. Raise the Titanic was the first and it was not done so well} to be made. Now that it turned out so well, I hope that he will release more books to become movies!


Roger Zellany - We are currently reading The Great Book of Amber. Actually, I should not say we - Whence reads it to me. Which is another reason why I love him so much. He is so sweet and caring. I love the quiet time we get to spend together curled up on the bed and listening to him read. I love it!

Frakir's (our ball python) name comes from this book. He definitely lives up to his name too, except Frakir is a girl in the book and we think our snake is a boy.


Anne McCaffrey. She is a VERY talented women and author. I love her books. I am so excited about the movie coming out next year. I hope it turns out well so she will release more later on.

May 25th is her birthday and also our daugther's


Another GREAT book is 1001 Ways to Be Romantic by Gregory J. P. Godek. It is definitely a book to live by.


And my husband Whence's books! I am lucky enough to be the editor for him. I love to read all his stories. He is VERY talented, brilliant, smart and articulate. He is truly gifted.

He has shown me how great life and true love can be. He is kind and caring and everything that I need.


I believe in him with everything in me. He can accomplish anything he puts his mind to do, and he will be great at it too. He is a wonderful man, a great husband and a very caring dad.





All the brave men and women that sacrifice everything to keep us safe. Freedom is NEVER free, it requires many sacrifices.

* Some pay with time away from family, missing the birth of their children, the first steps, first words, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and never being able to say goodbye to loved ones that pass away while they are away serving us all and this nation.

You might not always agree with what they do, what they say or their actions but the job is extremely tough and they put their lives on the line to do their best for this great country we call home.
