Ultraviolet Catastrophe is the jazz-influenced acoustic work of singer/songwriter and pianist Gina Riggio. Instrumentation includes drums, upright bass, cello, piano, and voice. Among Gina's many musical influences are Ben Folds, Andrew Bird, Tori Amos, and Counting Crows. Gina currently studying piano with the student of a student of the late, great Lennie Tristano and also plays keyboard in a psychedelic jam band called Mysterytrain.
