...in not so much an order: Cyndi Lauper, X, Doo Wop, Jim Croce, Andres Segovia was a big guitar study for me, the many incarnations of Danzig, Allison Krauss, Rancid, Dolly Parton, most words that end in -grass, Billie Holiday, Concrete Blonde, "coded" slave songs, anything in the call and response category, R.E.M.,Toad the Wet Sprocket's Dulcinea album, the Disney Collection of Children's Songs on vinyl from my childhood probably taught me more about melody and harmony than anything else in my Life, heavy metal, Delta & Piedmont Blues particularly, Operation Ivy, Bach, the Duhks as of late...I could go on and I may...later
I'm a magnet with polarity issues. I've managed to make a living with various forms of art for the last decade. I love a handful of people even more than I love cake. 50% of them are in my top friends.
Lol. Now that i am done laughing at his story... I've had a mudslide but it has been years... And DI is one of my favorite places to go for quiet time. Especially on rainy days. I love the rain and watching the waves crash on the rocks.
It's break time in pokerville so I've decided to pee and come back here to listen to your songs and read the comments from your friends.
I am really curious if Ashley has ever had a MudSlide.. I can direct her to a bartender in Mobile who will make one that will take over her Buttery-Nipple. (I kinda miss MoBubble - I sorta lived there for 12-13 semi-forgotten months.. but I always find myself returning... I think Dauphin Island has a lot to do with that but that's a long story....
Here's a short version...
While my dog was chasing crabs on the beach at 3am I was staggering through the sand and looking for a crabless area to pass-out. In my hand was a 1/2 gallon of Jim Beam and in the distance, walking toward me was a human being with a flashlight... All of the signs, all of the warning, all of everything made it crystal clear that anyone caught drinking on Dauphin Island would go to jail but there was no sense in hiding it. I was too drunk and it was too late. When The DI sheriff finally got to me he asked what I had in my hand. I handed it to him, he pulled out a flask, filled it up, stuck it back in his jacket, handed the bottle back to me, told me my dog should be on a leash and walked away...
Oh how i miss our days. Wait..... our days never happened. Doing well. Missing your face. I'm going to have to make a special trip to see you bc it looks like you're never going to make it over here. Lots of love.

Sometimes, when I’m painting, I ask myself what Gina would do or if you would like it. I sit here and jam along with your music… I’m going to keep doing that until you recognize and reward your Irish blood. No… I’m not currently flirting with you… / I’ve decided to thank five people who inspire me. – You’re one of them.
The Dark Of Things has a true Irish/Celtic “thing” going on… / I don’t know if you know that… (Try imagining that lead guitar hook in the intro & break being played throughout on an Alesis QS7… via bagpipe, flute, sax and piano, amped computer- & you’ll get an idea)
Of our weird jam session… : )
But now it's not available and I think my neighbors are calling an ambulance.
