X, Patti Smith, Dolly Parton, Operation Ivy, Cyndi Lauper, Dwight Yoakam, Concrete Blonde, Green Day (circa 39smooth), Johnny Cash, blues music at large, Social Distortion, Bach, Beethoven, AFI, Les Miserables, Rancid, Glen Danzig (in any incarnation, at some point or another,) Simon and Garfunkel, Blind Melon's Soup, every artist I've had the honor to make music with, Doo Wop, The Knitters, the Duhks have been living in the Cd player lately, Jim Croce, heavy metal, Billie Holiday, Billy Zoom, Andres Segovia, the Ramones, Alice Cooper a little, and so on & so forth ... oh! and all the children's music the Lily O' listens to...simple little melodies seeping into my writing...I'm divided on whether I like it, but it's seeping nonetheless........

....not so much a band per se...unhealthy preoccupation with the lamp aisle....strongly and strangely attracted to starlight, beds, daschunds, sparklies, shineys, glitteries, milk caramel, office supplies, and candle holding apparatuses of all sorts...afraid of the dark when I'm alone....more afraid of squash if a little unsettled by gourds at large...big fan of the Bastard (FAT, not Ol Dirty)....LOVE vodka martinis extra dry extra dirty but hate olives and vermouth....can taste NutraSweet a mile away....equally fascinated by Daylight Savings Time and the concept of direction...always lead with my left foot...don't-strike that-can't dance except slowly in a little box...not OK with mass transit (this includes elevators)....totally wanna visit the intriguing place that is Canadia...am adversely affected by strobe lights on stage....am curled up on the couch with the beagle as we speak...don't care what it takes, I'm gonna have a pet Zonkey one day....can tie a cherry stem with my tongue....cannot open a box of cereal without shredding the bag....don't work especially well with a group...tend to speak less and listen more...keen observer of details to the point of missing the big picture....often know it's going to happen just before it does, but rarely believe it enough to mention it....forget it shortly after it happens, in most cases...am waaaaay too caffeinated...so married to Jonny H...alto voice....cannot play tambourine but improving on the egg shaker...terrified and confused by the pop culture phenomenon that is Karaoke...having been suspicious for years that I may be a super hero in disguise, although i have no proof of it whatsoever...unappologetic consumer of Crunk juice...feel more on the right side of my body than the left....The first time my daughter left her handprint on the glass door I stared at it for hours having realized she was really here....am beginning to suspect that I am a square peg....have an astigmatism....begin to believe in the Easter Bunny if I think about it long enough....fairly fond of alliteration....hate hate hate those spiteful isms...Bela Lugosi...Ed Wood movies (or Johnny Depp masquerading as Ed Wood in movies;)...feel that black & white movies are superior both for real reasons and totally illegitimate ones too...am convinced that my vegetarianism resulted from having eaten my beloved pet chickens as a child....love (on rare occasion) to eat SpaghettiO's, drink Kool-aid, and play Nintendo for an entire day...couldn't watch AI when I was pregnant because it made me cry uncontrollably...didn't become Miss Taken until years after I wrote the song....fan of Poe, Ayn Rand, Emily Dickinson, and Kurt Vonnegut....not a fan of William Faulkner except A Rose for Emily...prefer peppered beef jerky to steak....get a sick sense of accomplishment when I kill a fly....favorite book is Merriam-Webster's Collegiate Dictionary...wonder if gnomes really exist...worry that leprechauns really exist...am more a cat person than dog person...amused by guinea pigs and their chicken feet...took an unexpected hiatus a couple of years ago, and eventually reported back that Crazy and Planet Earth are indeed closer in proximity than one would imagine....tap my fingers on everything, even on my pillow at night...will have a whole conversation with you in my sleep and then get pissed off when I realize what's going on...don't subscribe to the notion of gravity per say...wonder who, if anyone, notices I kind of unintentionally lied when I said I add to/edit this list in some small way almost every day.....!

Her music has been licensed to MTV's Road Rules & My Super Sweet 16; Oxygen's BAD GIRLS CLUB; USA's Dr. Steveo Show, ETV!'s Keeping Up Withe the Kardashians' and LIFETIME's America's Psychic Challenge.
Her music has twice been serviced to college radio. Both times it was spun at almost 200 stations throughout the US and into Canada -- It was in the top 5 adds in a few places and charted into the top 20 on some stations.

She's shared the stage with a few well known bands such as Deadboy and the Elephantmen (back when there were Elephantmen,) fellow Coasties Biloxi, and those modern rock band everyone seems to like, Revelation Theory and Hinder.
She spent 5 years fronting the band Consumption alongside drummer Alex Rogers. Great times!
