At the end of the day faith is a funny thing. It turns up when you don't really expect it. Its like one day you realize that the fairy tale may be slightly different than you dreamed. The castle, well, it may not be a castle. And its not so important happy ever after, just that its happy right now. See once in a while, once in a blue moon, people will surprise you , and once in a while people may even take your breath away.
At the end of the day, when it comes down to it, all we really want is to be close to somebody. So this thing, where we all keep our distance and pretend not to care about each other, is usually a load of bull. So we pick and choose who we want to remain close to, and once we've chosen those people, we tend to stick close by. No matter how much we hurt them, the people that are still with you at the end of the day - those are the ones worth keeping. And sure, sometimes close can be too close. But sometimes, that invasion of personal space, it can be exactly what you need.

I like to engage in supporting local musicians and original music. I appreciate various genres. Although my comsummate favorite would be acoustic!! Love the sound of 'purity.' When I was growing up my parents always said, "can you turn that down?" or "who are you serenading?" Now my kids say the same thing. LOL. When I am driving I like to dance and sing behind the wheel especially when they are in the car with me as it embarasses the hell out of them. **giggling** Afterall, isn't that what parents are for!? Music keeps all ages connected.

I enjoy most types of movies except sci-fi ... just don't seem to get into that. I like romantic comedies, comedy in general (laughter is good for the soul), of course chick flicks (what good is a movie if it doesn't make you cry LOL), action flicks, documentaries/true stories, etc.
Television
I know my work day is over when I can relax in my recliner to capture the evening news or CNN (I truly believe we need to be aware of the World around us). On a lighter note, I enjoy MTV/CMT, HDTV, The Food NetWork, Grey's Antatomy (oooohh, yesss - McDreamy) and some reality TV, etc. I am also a big sports fan so toss ESPN in there too. Penn State, Pittsburgh Steelers, Yanks, tennis, golf, etc.
Books
I enjoy autobiographies, self improvement and mind strengthening books. I also enjoy cookbooks (even tho it is rare that I follow a recipe), home improvement books and spiritual books.
Feed your mind, enrich your soul and ALWAYS make time for personal REFLECTION!

We are all heroes to each other on some level ... whether it is to our children, signifigant other, parents, friends, neighbors, your boss/co-workers, ... we need to appreciate and respect each other ... my heroes are those who have nurtured me and gave me strength to get thru the hard times. God is my Savior!
