GINGER COYOTE is the lead singer of THE WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES http://www.whitetrashdebutantes.com and the Editor and Publisher of PUNK GLOBE MAGAZINE... She exploded on the San Francisco punk scene leaving a lasting impression on all she met. In fact,DIRK DIRKSEN and THE MABUHAY GARDENS hosted a mock Presidential Campaign / Election in which patrons and employee's voted for their choice of President Of The United States. The Winner was GINGER COYOTE winning the Election over the likes of JELLO BIAFRA, BRUCE LOOSE, PENELOPE HOUSTON and DIRK DIRKSEN ... She soon began publishing and editing Punk Globe Magazine in print for 10 years, which led to forming her band The White Trash Debutantes. They soon got their first big break from Joey Ramone, a close friend and fan of the bands. Performing at his now legendary "Circus Of The Perverse" show with the likes of The Ramones, Bebe Buell, Daniel Rey, Lemmy from Motorhead, Debbie Harry, Chris Stein, Stiv Bators, Cheetah Chrome and many others at NYC's Ritz Club.. They then recorded their first release on Jello Biafra's Alternative Tentacles label produced by Billy Gould of Faith No More.... Numerous releases on 206 Records, Beer City Records, Victory Records, Orange Peal Records and Triple X Records. Tours and shows with such notable acts as The Lunachicks, Green Day, The Ramones, The Offspring, Lucy Lawless, Rancid and L7 among many others. Taking them all over The USA, Canada, Mexico and Japan... Ginger has appeared in Movies such as "Phone Sex - What Is Sexy?", "American Hardcore" Now out on DVD, "Tweek City", " A Regular Frankie Fan", "In Search Of Tonya Harding', "The Freedom Snatchers", "The Sicilian Connection", "Hard To Hold", "Justice For Jennifer" and "The Non Carol Burnett Hour".. She has been featured on Television Shows such as “Mad TV", "Inside Edition”,” Jerry Springer", "MTV Day in Rock ", "MTV Week in Rock"... The songs "Different for Girls' and "Fit" by British Pop Star, Joe Jackson - were written for her and she was the inspiration for a poem " Poem for Ginger Coyote" by acclaimed Musician, Author, Poet, Spoken Word Performer- Jim Carroll ... The Frustrators featuring Mike Dirnt of Green Day feature a photo of Ginger on their "Achtung Jackass" CD..... Romance Novelist Danielle Steel invited Ginger to write a passage for her book "His Bright Light" about her son, the late Nick Traina ..... Ginger and Kathy Peck (The Contractions and founder of H.E.A.R.) produced a Benefit CD "H.E.A.R. THIS! on Sub City Records for H.E.A.R. (Hearing Education and Awareness for Rockers.) The CD featured 29 bands.The White Trash Debutantes perform the track "Hey Nick... You Did Okay" featuring actress Amy Carlson, Jennifer Finch (Shocker, L7) , Tequila Mockingbird, Paige Darling and Xander Smith on back up vocals. The song and CD is dedicated to the memory of Nick Traina.. H.E.A.R. THIS! also features an opening introduction by the late Dirk Dirksen "The Pope Of Punk"... Ginger recently recorded "Rock n Roll Republikkkan" and a few other tracks with Punk Icon -Jayne County, Warhol Superstar- Holly Woodlawn- Constance Cooper- and the legendary- Cherry Vanilla for an upcoming CD.. The White Trash Debutantes featuring Guitarist Pauli Gray are still performing strong. "Tweek City" has been picked up by Maverick Entertainment and is now available on DVD at Stores NOW!!! You can also rent it through Net Flix.... "Phone Sex" is also out on DVD @ www.DIKENGA.com and in the DVD version of "American Hardcore- Ginger Coyote ends the film riding off on her Vespa...May 2007- JOSIE COTTON invited GINGER to appear in her Video for "MANEATERS" from her forthcoming Album "Invasion Of The B-Girls". "Maneaters (Get Off The Road)" is the title song from Herschell Gordon Lewis' SHE DEVILS ON WHEELS (1968). JOSIE leads a tough all girl scooter gang on a man killing spree.THE MANEATERS set all the rules and they make NO DEALS !!! GINGER COYOTE performed with The Baltimore White Trash Debutantes at the first ever FREAKER'S BALL in Baltimore, MD....Proving Wild Women Rule!! The WHITE TRASH DEBUTANTES played support to THE VIBRATORS at Safari Sam's and the band played the 443 Club (the Old Mabuhay Gardens) in S.F. CA to celebrate PAULI GRAY and GINGER COYOTE'S Birthday..GINGER recently did an Interview with Jack Boulware for a book he is releasing on Pequin Press in 2008 about the Bay Area Punk Scene and she recently did a documentary about "Women Who Collect Vinyl" with Film Maker Anthony Galarza. She played in The Mab All Stars for a benefit to help raise funds for Mabuhay Gardens owner Ness Aquino .. It is the New Year and Ginger is busy.. She was featured in the Video "ANDY WARHOL DEAD AT 21" shot at THE WOW REPORT Gallery in Hollywood, CA.. She attended the event with NCIS Actress PAULEY PERRETTE, HOLLY WOODLAWN and others.. GINGER and WTD returned from playing some shows in British Columbia with GERRY JEN WILSON and JP5.. They had a blast on the "ANARCHY IN THE BC" tour.. Making all sorts of new fans and friends...... On July 21 PUNK GLOBE celebrated it's 30th Anniversary and it made the LA Weekly.. Thanks Lina... Ginger just celebrated her 21st Birthday on October 18 and it was a monster party.... Speaking of Parties GINGER recently was a Guest at KYNT and VYXSIN's "AMAZING RACE" Party where she met JAMES RHINE of "BIG BROTHER 6" and "BIG BROTHER ALL STAR'S" .
